Avoid these chairs and vendor! We ordered two of these chairs, and both came damaged with scratches on the seat cushion (see photos). One of the metal fittings was on top of the cushion causing the damage. It is a systematic packing issue, so expect your product to arrive damaged. I reached out to the vendor in August about the issue. They offered a modest financial compensation. The chairs are heavy and returning them would have been a pain, so I decided to agree on the compensation. AFTER 3 MONTHS of back and forth, I still have not received the agreed upon compensation. The whole thing was very sketchy to begin with. A person from an email address ending in idealhouse.vip reached out to me (.vip extensions are often used by scammers and fraudulent vendors) asking me to make a paypal account to set up the reimbursement, since they do not work directly with Target.  I have been emailing with them for months, and there is always some excuse. I have filed a complaint with Target regarding the practices of this vendor. You think with the Target name there would be quality behind the product and vendor, but that is certainly not the case here. I will update the review if someone from Target or this vendor follows up and resolves the matter.

Purchased as a gift, recipients seem to like it so far. Comfortable, sturdy, nice color of upholstery.

This chair does not stay reclined. Back bounces back immediately and and the footrest goes back down with any shift in position. Cushion is only comfortable for a short time.
