This product was so disappointing. It is very oily, more-so than other balms, which makes it impossible to remove with rinsing alone.

Scent is bad!
It does an ok job. Totally agree with others about the “scent”. It is awful. I ran out of my make-up eraser balm so I thought I would try this. I will be going back to my original and throwing away the rest of this product.

Awful. I have burns all over my face. It’s itchy and patchy. I switched all of my make up and brushes and realized the one thing I didn’t change was this product. Would not recommend.

I like that it has hyaluronic acid in it, but I feel like a Korean skincare product of the same type would have much more benefits than this one. The texture melts right into your skin and does feel nice, but I'd probably pass next time.

Sure maybe it doesn’t smell like heaven itself, but it’s very affordable for the quantity, melts off my waterproof mascara, and washes off with a gentle cleanser so I’m a fan! Don't rub this on your eyes
Horrible allergic reaction. There is a scent and you’re supposed to use it on your eyes to remove makeup. My eyes were raw, swollen and red. Called garnier and they never got back to me.

Great cleanser, awful scent
I don't wear a ton of makeup, but I use a tinted moisturizer with powder over it plus eyeliner when I do, and I like to be sure to remove it entirely. I was looking for an alternative to Pond's cold cream because it was starting to burn my skin. Enter Garnier, which I had heard was gentle, and indeed it was! It did not burn my skin or eyes upon use. BUT the scent leaves much to be desired. I felt like I was putting automative oil on my face. It was that strong of a smell. I use a warm washcloth to remove it, so I cannot speak to its ability to wash off makeup with water alone, but it works nicely to ease on and wipe everything off. I wish they'd come up with an unscented or more pleasantly scented version and then I'd be a repeat customer.

Doesn't take off my makeup all the way so what's the point. Also leaves a thick, greasy residue on the face and is hard to rinse off. At least you get a massive tub of it.

Burns and drying
I’ve used this for a few days to remove my waterproof mascara. It leaves my skin really tight and dry feeling around my eyes and burns my skin/eyelids very badly, even after washing it off with a cleanser and 20 minutes later. Not sure what’s in it that’s causing that but I’m returning this ASAP.

I really like this product! I used to use the Good Molecules brand and although that brand is affordable, I was going through 1 tin a month of their cleansing balm. Don't waste your money
I bought this to try in place of the elf balm cleanser and it is in noooo way even close! Had to go over my face twice to remove as much as Elf removes in one try and it leaves this white residue on your hands.
