Decent
Hole map is small. Hard to get accurate distances when tapping it. Big fingers don't help. Other features are pretty good.

Many functions!
I am very happy with the watch and everything that it does for me. However I wish for that amount of money that I spent there should have been an instruction book included. I do not know how to use some of the features.

Easy to use
I am still learning all the functions and features of the watch. I have watched the videos a few times and learn something each time. I love the ability to move the pin placement. For now, I am holding off on the Garmin subscription until I learn more of the basic features and for springtime.

Great battery life
I bought this on the black friday sale. Although I haven't used it for golf yet, I'm in New England so I might get to use it once or twice between now and spring. I think it is easier to use than the S42 and the battery lasts a lot longer. I honestly cant wait for spring.

Great Features and looks Good!
Got my Approach S44 for my birthday and love it! Love how it looks/feels, and the ease of working through the menu. Has helped with yardage on the course. Will need to play with it a bit more as spring rolls around, but love my Approach S44 so far.

I am very happy with my Approach S44. It was very easy to use on the first day on my course. I plan on taking to Hawaii when I play some course over there that I am not familiar with. It connects to my iPhone which makes it very convenient.

Nice watch
Love the color screen and watch fits nicely, not overly bulky. Slight negatives are I love to keep score on my watch and unable to score on touchscreen when I have a glove on both hands (in winter). Also prompt for score is a bit more delayed than previous model so easier to forget. Does have a vibration reminder but that doesn't seem to be 100%

Problematic
I found this unit not as friendly as the s-10. Without the owners manual which is not included I found it difficult to get to "play golf" to start the round. If your in one of the sub programs because you hit the wrong button I had to quit the round and start over again!! The manual was 19 pages double sides to print. The little booklet that was with my S-10 was more convenient and it was in my golf bag all the time

Best purchase I've made in a long time.
There are so many golf watches out there, and I've had an early Garmin for a long time. Started reading up on these, and just sorta guessed and picked this one. I already want a second for my travel golf bag. It's simply a joy. Makes me smile.

Wrist Band Needs Work
Just a couple of things. Overall is works pretty well. The wrist band is rubber and hard to get on. It also tends to go to other sports if you don't hit Play Golf just right and occasionally it gets on wrong hole. I had my last Garmin 10 years, and it was the best.
