About the Author
Ila Lane Gross is an enthusiastic, overly ambitious gardener who, for the past 45 years, has been inspired by gardens all over the world to create her own special no-effort plantings. Learning from her many mistakes and her occasional successes, she has created fifteen different gardens, ranging from a flower maze in a wild field and a spring bulb garden in a wooded area, to her large cutting garden, water garden, and small herb garden. Ila and her husband split their time between New York City and East Chatham.
