    Stylish AND Sturdy

    I thought I was ordering metal hoops, and was initially disappointed that they were heavy plastic. But they were easy to install and work really well for my peonies. They stay up all year- friends and neighbors admire them!

    Great for larger established Peonies

    I have some large peony shrubs that get floppy so I was excited to try these. They were easy to assemble and will be a sturdy cage. What I hadn't anticipated was just how much of an eyesore these are. I see the photos but it still didn't register until I got them in the ground. Our peonies are so delicate and this is so utilitarian. I do believe it will be a short growing pains until the shrub grows in and then it will be nearly invisible. I'm trying them this year and if they don't work for my needs I will get the Essex ones and use these as tomato cage ( they would make a great tomato cage for determinate variety) It's a great product but may not be for everyone's aesthetics.

    I bought these a couple years ago and they are perfect for two of my peony plants. As noted in comments above, i would buy again and have also recommended to a friend. I need a taller one for one plant

    these supports have a steel core but they look just like black plastic, because mostly they're just black plastic, big sturdy black plastic ugly utilitarian supports. I'm not going to use them where I had intended because they just look bad. it's also quite difficult to snap the stakes into the rings--my 68-year-old hands could not do it, and the young strong person who was helping me had great difficulty as well, characterizing the process as a pain in the butt. I love pretty much everything I've gotten from Gardner's supply, but I don't love these and I'm sorry I ordered them.

    I would buy this product again

    I use them for many plants besides Peonies, grasses, vines, etc. They are excellent for holding everything upright in the heavy fall and winter downpours of Oregon.

    I need two more of these and I will be buying them again.

    I like the overall design of the product. It doesn't detract from the beauty of the plant. I agree with the comments that it's extremely difficult to assemble for a woman alone to accomplish. The rings are very tight to snap together. I don't have anyone to help me assemble them so I had to push through it. I'd like to see a change in the design so that it's a little more user friendly. That being said, I've shopped around and these seem to be the best. I'll buy them again.

    Low quality and ugly

    These are way to expensive for the low quality item you receive. At $70+ I was really hoping to love these. The quality just isn't there. Plastic coated steel? I don't think so. More like flimsy, bulky, black plastic. I don't recommend. Not the easiest to put together either. I'm regretting not getting a metal option. They need to lower the pricing on these significantly. They look horrible in my garden.

    Great Support

    These are easy to put together. They provide a neat space for my flowering shrubs. The supports are sturdy and adjustable to make the perfect fit as shrubs grow. Easy way to maintain a clean look.

    Rings are plastic and they bend

    I'm extremely dissatisfied with this product and titan tomato cages . Despite the attractive photos, the rings turned out to be plastic though the stakes are sturdy. I should have paid close attention to other reviews. When I tried to return them, the company informed me that I would have to pay for return shipping, which is more than $50 because I was not satisfied with the item. And the reason provided was that the rings had been tested in their gardens and were sturdy. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience with returns.

    This is the second year of buying these Peony supports

    After struggling for years with the smaller wire ring peony holders, I purchased these strong Titan peony supports. They work fine and allows me to adjust the supports as the plant grows thanks to the 3 adjustable rings. Finally, no more watching my plants fall into the dirt after heavy rains. These worked so well last year, that I purchase 2 more sets this year so all of our plants have full support. My plants are older so they are large with multiple large blooms. These do the work of keeping my blooms looking beautiful.

    I would not purchase this product again

    Better definition to what is best used for. Such as light support rather than heavy. I should have purchased a mental frame with real stakes for the ground.

    Would Not Purchase

    Very cheaply made. One box had no instructions for set-up. Plastic ties were almost all broken with materials loose in the shipping boxes. Very low quality/price ratio.
