Needs longer garden pins to hold them in the ground
I like these cloches. Plastic is a bit thin, but I guess you don't want it too thick. These are nice and tall, they give your 4" starter plants plenty of room to grow. I only wish the landscaping pins that come with them were longer. The pins don't hold the cloches down very well. A wind comes along and they sometimes come up. I recommend buying longer pins for these

Excellent Product!
I've been raving about these for about a month now, they're absolutely perfect! I planted lettuce, mustard, and onions at the end of February outdoors in Michigan and covered them with these. Despite the fact that we've had temps as high as 70 and as low as 18 degrees, and everything under one of these has thrived! Of course, I had to plant some lettuce outside of the cloches for comparison, and there is a noticeable difference! Can I get one of these that covers our entire property? ;)

Melted in the heat
These are very thin/lightweight. They worked okay to extend our spring garden earlier in the year, but when stored next to our metal garden shed for the summer, they discolored and melted in the sun. Literally melted and collapsed into each other. Would not recommend if you expect 2 season out of them. Very lightweight, too, and blow in a heavy wind.

These cloches can be used to warm the soil prior to putting tomatoes or other warm weather crops out a bit early but they also are fabulous to use for rooting cuttings inside.

Wonderful for seedlings
I live in a fairly windy location and I use long landscape spikes to anchor this down. When the plants get taller, I prop the cloches open at the bottom using little chunks of wood or other landscape spikes.

Work well and are at a good size
These large cloches worked great and unlike the medium cloches I did not have any "lensing" or burn-in with high sun. Whether this was because I used them for more established plants or because the height of the dome makes for a better angle, I am not sure. The medium cloches worked very well but in the future I think I will get some more of these larger ones as some of my plants (the brassicas and the kale) are in danger of being nibbled away even after they outgrow the smaller ones.
