This trellis is well made and so easy to put together. I didn't need any help and the weight of it feels secure enough that it won't blow over in strong winds.

Love the design but it is not made well

Flimsy. Had to use zip ties to keep it together. Only a one year old clematis and morn glory vine on it and it bent from the weight.

Buyer beware: this is not meant to be free-standing

1. Yes, it is tall, so it will serve my Jackmanii clematis well. But despite zip-tying it to 4 ft rebar posts on each side, the structure was still crazy wobbly. It needed McGyvered supports in 3 extra places to fix it to the structure behind. There is a reason the catalog pictures it flush up against a wall-- the only way it will stand. Yet flat up against a wall it has no utility as a trellis--it's just decoration. 2. So if you are buying this for its height, you'll be happy, but be aware it is not free-standing. However, it can be made so, with some creative engineering. 3. The 4 x 4 in trellis openings will be perfect for clematis, but roses??? I don't think so...Not a clue how the other reviewers are using this to support roses. 4. The finish is brown with some greenish mottling. Because the frame and cross wires are not substantial, the finish does not catch the eye one way or the other. It's neutral. It's fine. 5. Value is in the eye of the beholder, for sure, but with all the extra hardware I needed to make this a functional trellis and its overall quality, I rank the purchase as a bit pricey.

Beautiful and sturdy trellis

Rusted within a month

I purchased two of these less than a month ago and they are already rusting. Very disappointed especially considering the price I paid.

I bought three for my roses and they are perfect. They are sturdy and were easy to put together. They have an aged look about them and a simplicity, which is perfect for me because my roses are they star.

I love it.

If you like a casual, rustic look, this is it. It's coated, so will not rust. It stands well on its own with four well placed prongs at the bottom.
