Easiest way to start your seeds!
Amazing product for a beginner! These took the guess work out of watering my seeds, and now I have beautiful baby plants for my raised beds. They fit perfectly into the grow shelves I also bought, with three across each shelf.

Success, with a few hiccups
Worked wonders germinating my seeds. However, not the best idea for starting various seeds at the same time. My tomatoes germinated before eggplants and peppers, keeping the cover on proved problematic. By the time the true leaves appeared, the roots had penetrator the capillary mat. Removing seedlings from the tray also posed a problem. Will need to order replacement mats, but can't wait to try again next season.

Disappointed
I was disappointed the clear lid did not fit snuggly on the plant tray. It is very easily bumped off as it just sits atop the plant tray. Makes for clumsy moving or rearranging of trays.

The BEST seed starters I've ever used.
I've spent a lot of $$ on seed starting equipment. These are the BEST don't have to adjust water ❤️❤️

Mold Issues
The design is user friendly, feels sturdy, and seems like it will last. My problem is the mold - I've never had mold issues with my seedlings before but these trays became infested almost immediately (assuming bc it stays more moist than other environments). I haven't been able to solve this and it keeps coming back. I will likely have to restart my seedlings after 3 weeks of fighting the problem.

Unfortunately, we don’t have contact details for you but we hope you’ll reach out directly to take
advantage of our satisfaction guarantee. The water reservoir does not need to be filled all the time. Let the soil dry out a bit and be sure there is plenty of air circulation as well.

Perfect for a busy gardener!
I travel a lot for work so I have to leave my seedlings for days or a week at a time. The self wicking mat makes this soooo easy to manage while I'm away. I know my baby's plants are getting the water they need. Super easy to clean and pack away.

WOW - Very Impressive Growth!!
Very impressed with the fast growth of the seeds in this system. They grew so fast, it's almost like you can see them grow. Planted organic vegetable seeds (Cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, green onion & red pepper). All showed signs of growth after one week. Cucumbers and tomatoes are out growing the dome after only 8-9 days. Red peppers are coming the slowest. I'm not a very experienced gardener and this gave me confidence to try some other seeds this season. Would highly recommend this system.

I would not buy this product again
If there were large holes in the bottom of the cells so that you can push out the seedlings without disturbing the roots, it would be great. I will have to try to do this myself before using next year.

We're sorry you've had trouble removing the seedlings from your GrowEase Seed Starter Kit. You can flip over the platform support so the spikes are facing up, then set the growing tray on top, push down slowly, and the seedlings should pop out.

great idea, poor execution
These are a great idea -- durable plastic with a wicking capillary and mat system for watering. But the real problem is that the bottom holes are too small, and you inevitably destroy your delicate seedlings trying to get the plants out. Nothing works. Needs a redesign.

Uneven moisture due to warped trays
I've had this product for a couple years now. While I was happy with it at first, over time the seedling trays warped so that the perimeter cells are the only ones in contact with the capillary mat, while the interior cells become bone dry without additional watering from above. I'll be keeping the capillary mat and reservoir, but tossing the seedling tray.

Almost impossible to remove plants from cells
I have other seed starting trays with wicking systems that allow me to remove the seedlings when they outgrow the cells. This system is annoying because the holes are too small to push out the plants. Had to go in from the top, risking breakage.

I would definitely recommend
I've read several reviews saying it gets the seedlings too wet. Ive found if you fill tray with water wait 30 to 45 minutes then remove water left in tray it eliminates that problem. Great sucess this year!

Yes, I am buying more.
I purchased 4 of the trays about 3 years ago. I had just become interested in growing some of our vegetables. I love these trays. Fill them with water and check them every few days. They are hassle free. I've had great success using them. I will be ordering more for bext year.

Stunted Seedlings
Seedlings sprouted but wouldn't grow. Mold grew on top even with a fan in the room. Too much moisture stunted their growth and they were unusable. Was too late to plant new ones by time I figured out

Capillary mat keeps seedlings too wet
I like the size and sturdiness of these cell trays. This is my second year of using them and the capillary mats, while super convenient, really keep the seedlings much too wet. I've had all kinds of issues with damping off and fungus, especially on slower growing Summer annuals.

These work great
Solid construction. I used plant lights with this seed starting system and got good sized plants from seeds that I transferred to 6 inch pots.

Started strong but finished poorly
Capillary mat kept most seedlings too wet, and missed some in the middle despite good soil contact. Mechanism to remove seedlings for transplant did not work at all. Very annoyed by this experience.
