Frozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream - 1.5qt - Favorite Day™

This is my favorite ice cream of all time. I know that's a big statement. I don't know why. I'm not that into ice cream but I can't stop eating this. I don't think this just tastes like plain ol' chocolate ice cream. I think it's so much better.

Super yummy! I'm always happy to find sweet treats with marshmellow that don't have gelatin in them (I'm a vegetarian). I love the chocolate flakes, too. Overall, a great cheap ice cream option!

Delicious, soft and creamy!

Good but just tastes like regular chocolate ice cream. Personally, I didn’t notice the marshmallow or chocolate flakes very much. It still tastes good though not what I expected.

This ice cream is DIVINE. The texture with the chocolate flakes is as pleasing as others have described. I read another commenter was sad they took out the cinnamon. I’m personally glad they did. This really is hot cocoa in ice cream form. I like to have it topped with their peppermint whipped cream.

I love this ice cream. The chocolate flakes are what make this ice cream so good. The texture! It doesn’t taste like hot cocoa tho. If you want that you can make it yourself easily using hot cocoa mix, whipped milk etc. This is good because it stands out as chocolate ice cream with some marshmallows in it with those yummy chocolate flakes. Again, the texture is why it’s a hit with me. Besides that it’s just chocolate marshmallow ice cream

This is my fave chocolate ice cream EVER! And I’ve tried a lot. It’s seasonal so get it now! I was so sad last year that I found it @ the end of the season & couldn’t get more of it

My family absolutely loves this ice cream! So sad it’s already unavailable for the season. Hope it comes back next year. The chocolate is perfect and not too chocolatey.

I was excited, expecting something special to tantalize my taste buds.... I took my first bite. This hot chocolate ice cream, is chocolate ice cream. It is good, but I like chocolate ice cream. I probably won't buy it again because of this price it's best to move on to an ice cream that's not as expensive. A little disappointing.

This was our favorite ice cream last year. I’m disappointed that they changed the recipe. Now it just tastes like regular chocolate with some chocolate bits inside :( I hope they go back to the other recipe next winter.

Trying this icecream I immediatly notice its rich, chocolatey flavor that instantly reminds you of a cozy cup of hot cocoa on a cold day. Its actually really good, It's creamy, smooth, and has a sweet depth that satisfies your chocolate cravings. The marshmallow swirls was a nice touch. My favorite was the chocolate flakes as someone who doesn’t like to have to chew their ice cream. Haven't tried yet, but i had to come on and leave a "COMMON SENSE" review. I am excited to try this ice cream with my kids, so I figured let me check the reviews. Seriously, people ,I'm banging my head against the wall.. NO CINNAMON is what half of you all are crying over? I could see if they forgot to add the milk or coconut powder, but the cinnamon? Embarrassed by the world we live in. People sprinkle the dang cinnamon on for yourself! It's really not that hard SMH 🙄 Not as if I ordered a bottle of ice tea and they forgot the bottle..I'm sitting here telling my son that if it doesn't taste much like hot coco, I have a back up plan. Mix some hot chocolate powder with a pinch of milk, so it's still a thick consistency but liquidity enough to drizzle all over the ice cream. Maybe even warm it first before drizzling it. Then squirt a generous about of whip cream and sprinkle some coco powder on that! Now that sounds amazing. Ya'll carring on about the cinnamon, come on now , and put the imagination to work. Now, before I go, I'm just want to say that this message has no mean intentions. Honestly, im just joking around,making a funny. I'm sure I've spelled a million things wrong and used the wrong there or their , or then, or than. I'm great at that! My spelling may be atrocious but at least I have a decent sense of humor and can make fun of myself. Ok but anyway, buy the ice cream like I am, give it a try. If it lacks CINNAMON what are we all gonna do? For those who said sprinkle it on ourselves, you are absolutely correct and will enjoy your ice cream :) Again i hope nobody was offended by a little ice cream humor! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids were so excited to try this Favorite Day Hot Cocoa Ice Cream and it must have been meant to be because we got the last container at our local Target when I placed my drive up order, lol! It is hot cocoa flavored chocolate ice cream with marshmallow flavored swirl and chocolate flakes. It is SUPER sweet tasting. More so than most other chocolate ice creams I've had. I feel like it could stand to be a lot more chocolaty. The chocolate flavor was not as strong as I'd like for the price and flavor it was supposed to be. My chocolate loving daughter agreed with me. My other daughter and son liked it. But they tend to favor vanilla over chocolate. I did like that the chocolate flakes are very tiny and thin though because I don't like big chunks of hard chocolate in my ice cream. I might buy it again for my kids if they ask and it's in stock but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. It is a bit pricey for the lack of chocolate flavor and artificial tastes. It is just ok.
