Q: My morkie loves fresh pet, I feed him small breed 15 or 16 lbs can he also get roasted meals or should I stay with small bread? Also Inwas told chicken would cause stained eyes is this true

  • A: My 12 lb toy poodle’s eyes have been staining and “goopy” since changing to the chicken recipe. But, she loves Freshpet. I think I will probably change her over to beef to see what happens! Neither one of us want to change companies. I was going to try another one of their other chicken recipes, but it’s $5 more a bag!! We’ll see what happens with the beef. I hope Freshpet answers your question. I’d like to see what they say. Good luck.

  • A: Hi, all our foods are designed to be served fresh from the fridge. However, you can choose to freeze our bagged meals upon opening. Keep in mind you will see a slight texture change due to the moisture level in the food. Freezing will not change the nutritional level of the food. Hope this helps! -Jillian

    Clean ingredient list, no weird stuff included

    great for dogs with food allergies. One of mine has a pretty intense allergy to beef and beef by-products (gelatin, chondroitin, etc). He has never had a reaction to Freshpet. You can dependably rely on the ingredient list on this food. What it lists is actually what is in it, every time. Both my dogs enjoy this food. They never have any stomach issues with it. You truly do get what you pay for with Freshpet. Mine are both large breed dogs, but even the little guys would enjoy it.     My dog, Major is 11. He eats Fresh Pet twice a day. He has more energy, softer shinier cost and his eyes stopped weeping. The first bite he looked at me and said this is mine? It smells so delicious not like liver. I love treating my dog with Loving Care. It is Fresh Pet all the way.
