Nice Display case. Lots of assembly required.
Nice cabinet once its put together. The description said no tools required for assembly. So I am thinking its mostly put together and a matter of joining a few pieces to complete. Fact is there are over 30 labeled parts, and a box of tools and hardware to put it all together. The instructions are good enough going step by step but, if you are not one that has dealt with constructing things alot, it can be time consuming. Instructions say it can be assembled in about 2 hours. Yeah, I don’t think so. Took me an hour just to lay everything out and check it all off before starting. All in all it took me about 8 hours over 2 days. Thats why I rated this with only 4 stars. I did not really have the open space needed to efficiently put this cabinet together and had parts laid out all over my den. As for the cabinet itself, the materials are sturdy and able to handle some weight. Once put together, it’s a pretty big piece and looks very nice completed. The lights in the cabinet are on each shelf and really help with showing off whatever you are displaying. Lighting has 3 colors (warm, bright and, blue.) These can be stationary or set to sensor movement, and can also be adjusted for brightness by dimming. So thats a nice touch. If I had it to do again I would most likely buy something that was already completed and pay for it to be delivered ready to go.
