Looks good, but not an iron base.

Just what I needed for an entryway table lamp. Love the shade and the dimmer that comes with it. I thought the base was going to be iron, (Franklin Iron Works) but I didn’t read the full description, my fault, It’s a light weight resin. It looks like iron, but it is very light weight. Guess I won’t be using it to defend myself from an intruder.
