This is the perfect “pole light” without looking the part. Tall enough to produce great lighting to a darkened area and show above a taller couch. The lower sconce is high enough to keep a toddler from touching.

Absolutely love this lamp. My only complaint is that I use day light bulbs so I’m having problems finding ones that are not so bright.

I am beyond thrilled with this beautiful lamp! It arrived in perfect condition and took only 15 min to unpack, secure the glass shades on the poles, and screw in the lightbulbs. The entire lamp is of high quality …heavy and stable, and the frosted glass is thick and smooth. I used only 60 w bulbs and the entire corner of the room is bright! This lamp is a work of art!

This lamp looks just as good "in person" as it does in the photograph. My wife and I came upon this design while looking to replace a floor lamp in our living room, and realized that this lamp complimented existing design accents in the room very nicely. Because it was fairly pricey to begin with, and given the poor reviews related to boxing and shipment, I was a little concerned about ordering it. But our prior experience with Lamps Plus has been positive. So I pushed the "place order" button holding my breath. The box arrived via FedEx in absolute nightmare condition. Ripped, gouged, and actually pierced-through in one place. But the lampshades and ironwork inside were intact. One of the arms had been bent ever so slightly at the base, but with just a little pressure it straightened out nicely. The base is very heavy, and the arms for the bulbs and shades are very strong and sturdy. The piece is welded together in the shape that you see in the picture -- the welds are a little amateurish, but not visible at more than a foot (they are the same color as the ironwork). The globes are substantial, and once installed with the provided locking rings, probably never have to be moved again -- bulbs can be installed and the lamp and globes dusted with the globes in place. We used 60 watt daylight bulbs in the lamp, and it looks great. I suspect that in some rooms it might make sense to use soft white bulbs for a slightly different, more laid back look, or to use 40 watt instead of 60. While the lamp says it will take 75s, I suspect those might be too bright for many rooms. Of course, all the bulbs we used were LED equivalents, not incandescent, which also significantly reduces generated heat. The foot switch is cheap, but works fine. It would be very simple to replace if it ever breaks, as well (they sell replacements at virtually any hardware store). All in all, we are very happy with it. I have deducted one star for the high price, scary packaging, and slightly bent arm I had to straighten.

I love the look of the lamp and very happy I bought it. It looks great in my living room. I do need replace the 60 watt bulbs, as they are too bright.

The one sent tomy house was defective as base was not secure. Brought to store traded for floor model. We love it and works well. Ps one of light bulbs sent to us was blue tint. Had to go to store to exchange. The store personal we’re great both times
