About the Author
Jamie Michalak is the author of the first two Frank and Bean books: Frank and Bean, which Booklist called "absurd, over-the-top, and laugh-out-loud funny," and its companion, Frank and Bean: Food Truck Fiasco. She also wrote the Joe and Sparky books, illustrated by Frank Remkiewicz, and the Dakota Crumb picture books, illustrated by Kelly Murphy. Jamie Michalak lives in Rhode Island.
Bob Kolar is the illustrator of many books for children. In addition to the first two books about Frank and Bean, he illustrated AlphaOops!: The Day Z Went First by Alethea Kontis, Nothing Like a Puffin by Sue Soltis, and Slickety Quick: Poems about Sharks by Skila Brown, a title that Booklist said "will tickle the fins of many an aspiring marine biologist." Bob Kolar lives in Missouri.
