Bags that previously contained fruits, vegetables, breads and dry goods can be washed and reused. Bags that contained raw meats, fish, eggs or un-pasteurized cheese should be discarded after use because they may contain invisible bacteria that will remain after washing. I'm horrified that the only standard bags available are pre-cut. Obviously whoever designs these has no imagination. I bag toiletries and seal them for transportation in checked baggage, no leaks or explosions. I put broccoli spears in the bags, sprinkle in water, seal, microwave for 40 seconds, volia freshly steamed and ready to serve. I use the pint dimension bag roll to create long sealed bags for items for use in the Suvie. (I need long bags, the food being at one end, while the other protrudes out of the steaming water for fastening to the outer walls). I put long King Crab Legs in long 8" wide bags for freezing. Management must not have the imagination to consider that their product offers solutions for such a wide range of tasks. I only just got started naming the uses around our household. I use them every day. This probably means that their vacuum sealer no longer has a bag cutting feature.

Love these FoodSaver bags! These really save you money by extending the life of your freezer food! Sometimes I mix up a packet of marinade, put frozen steak or chicken in a freezer zip lock bag, pour in the marinade in the baggie, put the baggie in a FoodSaver vacuum seal bag, seal and freeze it. This way when your meat is thawing out in the refrigerator it is also marinating! I have used the FoodSaver brand vacuum sealer machines and FoodSaver vacuum bags and bag making rolls for many years. You can vacuum seal just about anything! If you vacuumed Sterling Silver jewelry or flatware it will never tarnish! The handheld vacuum sealer, resealable bags, and food storage containers are great for lunch meats, snacks, or other refrigerator or pantry items. 5-Star Products!👍

So happy now!
I have always wanted one of these but never bought one. After cleaning out my freezer and tossing several items that clearly showed freezer burn, I decided it was time. Due to the lack of space in my retirement home I purchased the slim one and several boxes of bags. What a pleasure! So easy to use. I have used it for my meats and even stuffed peppers. The variety of bag sizes is great. Why did I wait so long?!
