Q: Just got the stool. It has a prop 65 warning on the box. Does anyone know what the exposure is and how to limit it if we decide to keep the stool? Thank you.

A: The Proposition 65 warning is required by the State of California for many common household products. It does not mean the product is unsafe or that you will be exposed to harmful levels of chemicals during normal use. For a toilet stool, the potential exposure referenced by the warning is related to trace amounts of certain chemicals that may be present in materials such as plastics, finishes, or metal components. These materials are solid and stable, and under normal household use there is no meaningful exposure. The stool is designed for everyday household use and complies with applicable safety requirements. The Prop 65 warning is included solely to meet California’s strict labeling law, which applies even when exposure levels are extremely low.

A: We do not recommend that they use this Squatty as a stool. The floor can be slippery, and a toddler can lose balance and fall. I recommend that at least one parent watch the toddler while they are using the Squatty.

I decide to add several more Squatty Potties to my house. My original purchase was the stationary bamboo. I like this folding bamboo even better. It is a perfect size, fits nicely under the toilet and the folding aspect is a plus. I think this is the nicest one on your website. I cannot do without my Squatty Potties!

This thing is built solidly, which is a plus. I think it has to be in order to accommodate all shapes and sizes of people. It's also pretty, which is why I bought it. However, the hinges on this thing are particularly stiff. I bought the folding model to hide away when cleaning or when guests are over, and it's a pain to close and open. As for how it helps me poop - 10/10, would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Beautifully made! I'm impressed with the quality of the Oslo, and never want to be without a Squatty! I tell all my family and friends they are silly not to buy one ;) And I love that it tucks right up against the toilet base - if you didn't need to use it, you can sit normally and it isn't even in your way. Thank you!! I'm 5'4, have a regular (not chair height) toilet, and this thing is awesome to have. I also wish more people bought the kids' versions for their kids - ESPECIALLY since toilet heights grew taller for baby boomers with bad knees. Think about it, people!

20 years too late.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am schedule for a rectocele and cystocele. I have been working with a pelvic floor therapist at Hartz in Lititz. She recommended I get a squatty potty. I could not believe the positive results of using the product. It is sturdy but also compact that I can store it along side the toilet and out of way when others need to use bathroom. If I had been aware of this product 20 years ago, I may not being having surgery now.
