About the Author
Vasilisa Romanenko is a Connecticut-based illustrator, designer, and fine artist who depicts the mystery, beauty, and fragility of nature through the use of botanical elements, intricate patterns, and animals. Just like the fairy tales she got lost in as a child, she sees her work as windows into a magical world. Vasilisa credits her parents with her strong foundation in the arts and holds a degree in illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
