Description
The most usable space in the garage is right over your head. With the Fleximounts OHK series racks, you can put that space to use. There are 4 different sizes to fit any garage. The rack can be installed as close as 22 inches from the ceiling to fit in tight areas above a garage door or up to 40 inches when you have more space. We include hooks to store small items under the rack. The rack can be installed in 2 directions to accomodate joist positions. Can not be installed into i-beams - only solid wood joists.

So convenient and simple
Very strong and incredibly convenient for storing the stuff accumulated after 20 years in my home. I am extatic to have a clean garage again. I added a couple of crossmembers for lateral support due to the height of my ceilings.

Not as sturdy as expected.
The shelves after installing are not as sturdy as I would expect. Especially the center mounts where drywall anchors were required. Not sure how long they’ll last with stuff on them.

Overhead Shelving
The overhead shelving was easy to install and they seem very durable. Supposedly, they hold up to 750 lbs and I have about 500 lbs on the shelve with no issues. Best of all, they were very affordable. Looking to add more shelving to your garage, I would seriously consider these shelves.
