Not 180 grams
I decided to purchase this version of the album after reading a Target response in the Q&A section that this album was a 180 gram vinyl pressing. I thought that was a steal at the price. I should have known better. I received a record that only measured a relatively flimsy 141 grams on my ktichen scale. I did verify the accuracy of my kitchen scale with a known 180 gram pressing of a different album, and the scale measured 179 gram (I assume my scale was off by 1 gram). This may not be important to you, but I know it is important to some. While I did not have any issues with playback of the album, I am using a legitimate turntable and not one of those portable briefcases. Hope this information is helpful to you.

I ordered this for my granddaughter for Christmas. Said it would be here by the 23rd. Definitely didn’t arrive & still hasn’t. Funny how it shows they have 2 in the store. Why can’t they honor their shipping by Christmas guarantee and bring me one of those? I feel horrible that she didn’t get her Christmas present.

Multiple defective copies
My first copy was wavy and skipped so I returned it. Target made me get the exact album again per their policy and the second copy was also wavy and skipped. The second album also had a ton of black specks pressed in with the gold. They finally let me exchange for a different album/artist.

Target needs to be more careful when shipping fragile items
This is more a review of how Target ships records - the album is great but my record arrived damaged bc Target sent it in one of those plastic bags totally unprotected 🙄 I’ve got 8 more records coming in from them this week and I’m afraid of they state those will be in. Maybe don’t order records online from Target, do an in store pick up instead.

It took 3 albums across 2 different Target stores before I got one that did not have black substance contaminations pressed into the vinyl. The final good one played perfectly & sounds very good.

Do NOT Buy- Multiple Copies Defective!
Do not buy! The first one I purchased skipped. I exchanged it for a replacement (after two attempts with inconsistent customer service policies) and the replacement skips as well. Very poor quality and absolute waste of money. Now that the vinyl is harder to find in stores, I can’t even exchange it. You can’t return open music albums, only exchange for the EXACT product. So you will basically be stuck with a useless record.

The picture shows a metallic gold with liquid detail but all you get is a dull gold vinyl. I was okay with that but it also had black spots on it and songs would skip/pop. Trust the other reviews. DO NOT get this edition of Rumors.

LOVE Rumours, but this one skips.
Seems like you either get lucky with a good one, or end up with a bad one. Mine is on the bad side… but after reading some of these reviews, I have fewer skips than most people. So I guess it could be worse! Overall, the quality is just not great compared to other albums in my collection, which is really too bad. Rumours is one of my favorites and deserves better.

So excited, and then it has about 21 skips on side one. Do not know how to approach Target about a replacement or refund. I know it's not us, we sell phonographs and it's a new needle. We aren't new. The lyrics came with the album. too bad it would have been a delight for years.

Just love it, 130gm vinyl
Got this on 8 track back in the day, when I found it at target today I just had to have it, then I saw all these bad reviews and got a little worried. I wet cleaned it like I do all new vinyl, it is flat, plays quite with no distortion and sounds totally amazing. Mine is solid gold with no black imperfections. So happy mine is good. It is 130gm vinyl but I have a lot of 100gm vinyl from the 70's and 80's so in my book better vinyl starts at 130gm.
