Great scissors
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased these for my 1st grader. She has been using scissors for some time now, so I wanted to get her a real pair of scissors versus beginners. The color scheme on this pair is very pretty. She has no issues using this pair. They are big enough for adult hands as well. The colors on the blades are holding up quite nicely to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old loves the Fiskars® Big Kids Ombre scissors. She likes that they are easy use, comfortable and smaller than adult scissors. She likes they are larger than kindergarten scissors. The scissors are even large enough to be comfortable for even me to use. I love that they scissors have soft grip handles and are two toned color. I would recommend for parents to purchase for their kids around the first or second grade level.

Perfect for small hands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these big kids Fiskars scissors for my daughter. She had seemed to outgrow the preschoolers scissors. These are perfect. The little guard they have on them help the scissors to spring back open reducing stress on smaller hands and assisting them in cutting intricate details. I honestly just prefer Fiskars over all the others. They are made well products with thoughtful features. And they hold up to not so gentle big kids. I definitely recommend these to parents of kids and even to parents with small hands like myself. The coloring is also a hit with my daughter.

The perfect Scissors

However, I get nervous with her using adult scissors because they're too big/sharp. These scissors, however, are just perfect for her. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fiskars Big Kid Ombre Scissors are easy to grip, fit well I'm smaller hands, and feel good in your hands. They cut well and easily even through several pages of paper. The tips are a bit pointy but still rounded enough not to be sharp. These scissors are perfect for older children. My son loves the ombre color too.

Even older kids won't have trouble using these if they can't find regular scissors. Would be neat to have scissor covers but not a deal breaker.
