I will never spend money on this lol. $12 on sale. You can buy a massive lox bagel for less. This is influencer canned fish rebranded as "tinned fish girl dinner" slop. This new world sucks.

Not at all worth the price
I was curious about this brand and decided to give it a try in a “treat yourself” moment. The salmon has a nice texture for canned fish; however, the chili flavor was extremely mild. At $12, this is extremely overpriced for what you get. I would not purchase again.

SO GOOD
I typically do not like canned fix but this one was SO GOOD. My only critiques are that it was a bit too salty, you don't get a lot, and I wish it was stored in a healthier oil. Other than that it had amazing flavor and a great texture. And it also didnt smell bad like canned fish usually does.

Strong "smoke flavoring" additive
I really wanted to like this, but I didn’t. It was edible, and the fish was definitely high quality- however, all I could taste was a strong “smoky flavor” additive- it smothered out all the other things that were working in its favor. Even now, hours and hours later, I’m still burping up the fake smoke additive flavor and I’m not a fan. Especially combined with the price- I will not buy again.

Delicious smoked spicy salmon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fishwife and Fly by Jing team up to make this delicious tinned salmon. Szechuan chili crisp is a great flavor profile to add to smoked salmon. I was impressed by the size of the individual chunks of fish and that it was not just little flakes all pressed together. The smoky flavor comes through but the chili crisp is what really shines through. It has a little bit of a sweet note first then the smooth heat hits you a bit. I enjoyed a snack on some thin wheat crackers, but this would also make a great addition to a salad or rice bowl.

Delicious but light on chili flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love both Fly by Jing's chili crisps and Fishwife's tinned fish so I when I saw this collaboration between them I had to try it. The packaging, as always with this brand, is charming. This collab has smoked salmon in big, flakey chunks with the skin on in an oily, umami sauce. I did not get much of the flavor or texture of Sichuan chili crisps from this unfortunately. I served it as salmon mayo rice. It was tasty and this is undoubtedly good quality salmon. The flavor just wasn't exactly what I was expecting.

A wonderful flavor explosion to add to any meal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a delightful little appetizer this smoked salmon has been for my friends. This is the first time I have tried this brand and chose the Sichuan Chili Crisp that is just outstanding. It has just enough of a kick in flavor that explodes with goodness in every bite. I served it on fairly plain crackers so we could enjoy the flavors of the salmon, that did not disappoint! Next time I’ll have this on my salad. There are so many options of how this salmon can be served. It’s not just for crackers. It’s for adding another kick to your meal! Delicious!!

Perfectly smoked salmon in delicious chili sauce
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We eat a lot of smoked salmon in my house and even smoke our own. I never thought to combine it with our other favorite condiment of Fly by Jing Sichuan Chili Crisp but Fishwife created an amazing combination! The salmon melts in your mouth and is smoked to perfection. The chili crisp sauce adds just the right amount of sweet and spice flavor. I ate it for lunch with flatbread crackers but could have eaten it right out of the can by itself it’s so good. It’s packed with protein but also very high in fat at twenty six grams. This is definitely a treat because it’s a small can for the price but, you can taste the quality. Also, I love the boxes they’re packed in because of the artwork.

Good tasting with awesome packaging
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging of this salmon is beautiful. Before even opening the can I was intrigued. This was my first time eating tinned salmon and I enjoyed it. It had the perfect amount of heat and tasted great right out of the can. The visual appeal of the packaging is definitely what drew me in but I would continue to eat it thanks to the taste. A little pricey for canned fish but worth it.

Adorable Packaging for Perfectly Smoked Salmon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a big fan of smoked salmon so was excited to try this new flavor from fishwife. I absolutely love the packaging. It is perfect for an upcoming holiday gift basket or housewarming. The salmon itself is comprised of chunks of actual fish. This was so pleasantly surprising. The salmon was tender and flakey. The flavoring was sweet. I was expecting more spiciness but truly don’t notice it at all.

High quality salmon!! YUM
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not typically a tinned fish person, but the branding on Fishwife is solid so I figured it was worth a shot! Consider me influenced. Right away, you can tell this is a high quality product. It doesn’t smell super fishy, and you can really smell the chili oil! I’m big on chili oil, so I served mine with a “wavy noodle” product and additional chili oil. Delicious!

Delicious and quality smoked salmon but not spicy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This smoked salmon was pretty good. I love canned tuna and salmon for a quick snack or meal option. The can is tiny but the flavor is there. My picky husband tried it and liked it. I served it over white rice and ate the whole thing so fast. I was expecting spice but there was no spice at all. My toddlers tried it and didn’t think it was spicy either. I did enjoy it but would only buy on sale as it’s a little pricey.

Flavorful Salmon with a Hint of Spice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This salmon was a delicious way to mix up lunch options to take to work. I read the list of suggestions for how to serve the salmon and opted to pair it with cauliflower rice rather than the regular rice for a keto-friendly meal. I also considered using it on a salad, as the package also mentioned. The salmon was of high quality and was lightly spicy, but not overly spicy at all. It had a small quantity of savory oil in the can which went well with the cauliflower rice.

Tons of flavor, so delicious!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the smoked salmon with sichuan chili crisp made by fishwife and it is delicious! This smoked salmon has a very nice smoked chili flavor and pairs perfect alone, on crackers, or would even be great on a salad or lettuce leaf! It does have a little bit of a spice to it but it is not overly spicy. My whole family tried it and everyone agreed it was a tasty snack. Packaging looks great too!

Would buy this flavor again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smoked salmon is pretty delicious. I was afraid it might be spicy, but it wasn’t - it had more of a smoky flavor. It was really tasty served simply with rice; since the salmon is so flavorful, it doesn’t need a lot to go with it. I like that it contains non-GMO and real ingredients, as well as a good amount of protein. I’m looking forward to trying the other varieties.

A quick and easy, flavorful protein fix.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Sichuan chili crisp flavored, smoked salmon, got mixed reviews with us. It does come fabulously packaged in a fun, bright box. Inside is a small, 3.2 ounce can with a convenient,pop top/peel back lid. It can with apprx 3 small filet pieces in it, sitting in the oil sauce. We found the salmon to have a distinct smoked flavor and the Sichuan chili to have a mild spice and heat, but definitely not overpowering, or even as spicy as I would have hoped from the description. The filets were tender.

Fantastic gift basket addition for fish lovers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To start, the salmon comes in a decorative box that just looks like its likely going to be good quality. So far, this company has not disappointed in any of 5+ options we've tried. The taste is on a level I never thought possible for canned fish. It's ridiculously good! My first thought was the price is a little crazy for a can of fish. But just on taste alone, it's actually worth it. It was some of the best canned fish I've ever had. It's also some of the best salmon I've ever tasted period! Expectations exceeded!

flaky buttery surprisingly skin on
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this smoked salmon was as all this companies products packaged in a beautiful colorful box. i’ve tried a number of their other products and the salmon for me was similarly of high quality for a canned fish product. the chili was subtle which for me was a plus but if you wanted lots of heat might be a drawback. it was flaky but moist, a hair dry in the smaller pieces. it did have skin which i wasn’t expecting. much better than less expensive options for preserved salmon
