Do Not Buy! Amp is terrible!
The guitar itself is cute and seems solid. The amp is HORRIBLE. I should have listened to the other reviews. It was a Christmas present from Santa and now we are left having to explain why Santa brought a broken toy. The amp is full of static or just flat out doesn’t work sometimes. Will be returning.

BUY 9V BATTERY AND AN ADAPTER!
PLEASE BE AWARE - this DOES NOT come with a battery or adapter for the amp! For this simple reason I am giving it only 3 stars. How many of us have 9V batteries and adapters lying around the house 'just because one day we might need them!' Luckily I at least have like 6 different medical machines not being used with the same type of adapter so I had a spare cord lying around. It's also why I gave it a 3 star for value. And 4 star for quality. It's pretty high end and doesn't scream 'toy guitar' like other ones I looked at. Its pretty sturdy and durable, strings are good quality and don't seem like they'd snap easy. I would recommend though making sure you get it for maybe 6+ though because it is kinda of weighty.
