Jellies are a type of nail color that is brushed on and air dried (vs. the Gels that are cured with a UV/LED lamp). Jelly colors go on sheer, but are made to be applied in multiple layers depending on the finish you want (you can apply up to 4 coats for a more opaque finish). We suggest following these steps for best results: step 1: paint base coat and one coat of ‘in the time zone or shade of choice’ and allow to fully dry. step 2: layer with one coat of ‘mall shade of choice’ allow to dry. step 3: finish with one coat of ‘iced out fxor shade of choice’’ topcoat. Her first impression: She called it the “cutest summer orange ever.” It’s a soft, juicy, creamsicle-like orange, bright, playful, and super flattering, especially if you have even a little bit of a tan. It instantly made her nails look fun and bold without going neon.

Of the three colors this was the least favorite.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful pink bubble jellly shade! It’s great for a natural base or for French tips . Pretty and feminine. It has a decent amount of pigment , 1 coat is a bubble sheer shade and 2 coats gets a solid color . It goes on evenly and it dries fairly quickly .

Faster drying than most jelly polishes & chic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This jelly polishes dries faster than most Essie polishes and layers well. It’s super shiny before the topcoat and makes my skin look tan without being too pastey of a white. The brush size is just right for application and made it easy to keep my cuticles clean. I found that it wore for 7+ days. I’m excited to keep wearing this! You can see 1 coat on the left & 2 coats on the right side of my thumb for comparison of coverage.

I actually got to try it by itself and also with the special effects polish on top of it and while it's beautiful on it's own it is even more pretty with the shimmery purple on top of it!

i really wanted to try jelly nails, but couldn't drag myself to a salon. this is perfect for an at-home manicure. i love that it's buildable so you can really play around with how sheer or opaque you want it. this was 3 coats topped off with ethereal escape from their special effects line!

I prefer glitter on my nails so its a great top coat. I run my nails under cold water to dry them quickly. I have gotten a lot of compliments. The price is reasonable too.

I find It takes a few layers to achieve the color i desire but is typical of polishes. This dries quickly and stays on for days without chipping.
