Opened or prepared liquid (ready-to-use or concentrate) infant formulas can be kept covered in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours.  Do not refrigerate the rest of the formula in a bottle that has been fed.  Once the feeding begins, discard any product that has not been consumed within one hour. A: That is a great question, Lady! Prior to feeding from a Nursette/ready-to-use bottle, the contents may be divided for later use. Do not warm the Nursette/ready-to-use bottle before dividing. Also, shake the bottle before opening to ensure the contents are well mixed. Pour the desired amount for feeding into a clean bottle. The product you are not using should be immediately covered and refrigerated (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit or 2-4 degrees Celsius) and used within 48 hours. A: Hi, Marina! Most babies/toddlers don't seem to mind whether their bottle/sippy cup is warmed or straight out of the refrigerator. Some babies/toddlers may prefer the temperature of the product to be similar from one feeding to the next. If you want to warm a bottle/sippy cup that has been in the refrigerator, we suggest that you run warm tap water over the container or place it in a pan of hot, not boiling, water. ~Kate, Enfamil Expert

A: Since we make several different types of nipples and every baby has different needs, we do not include nipples with our Nursette bottles. Standard-size nipple and collar units fit our Nursette bottles. Nipples and nipple collars made for wide-mouth bottles will not fit our Nursette bottles. A: Hi, Amber! We do not recommend using bottle warmers to warm formula because the warming time may vary; and a bottle may stay in the warmer too long. Bottles or sippy cups warmed too long could burn the baby/child or the person preparing. Also, keeping formula/toddler drinks at a warm temperature for too long could increase the chance for bacteria that may be present to grow. If you use a bottle warmer, to ensure the safety of the baby and person preparing the bottle, be sure to follow the manufacturers’ recommendations of use. A: Hi, Sak! We would expect a child to accept and tolerate each product form equally. Some of our liquid products may appear darker and thicker than those prepared from powder. These differences may be due to the heat sterilization that the liquids undergo during manufacturing and also the emulsifier ingredients in our liquid products. You may notice slight differences in smell or taste from one product form to another due to slight differences in the ingredients. Formula made with aseptic processing requires shorter heat exposure than formula made with retort processing. As a result, the formula may not have as much of a cooked taste as our liquid formula made with retort processing. Liquid products contain additional ingredients called emulsifiers to keep them mixed throughout their shelf life. When prepared according to label directions, all forms (powder or liquid) of the same product have nutrition to support growth and development. I hope this information helps! ~Kate
