A: Great question, Carina! After 12 months of age, infant and toddler drinks may be used as a nutritious alternative to cow's milk to complement other foods in the diet. As babies get older, their nutritional needs change. In general, 1 to 3 year olds should have about 2 cups (16 fluid ounces) of milk, dairy or milk alternative each day.
