About the Author

Alex Chinwuba Asigbo, PhD, is a Professor of Theatre and Performance Studies at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria. He is a playwright, actor trainer, director, critic and culture consultant as well as Editor of The Creative Artist: A Journal of Theatre and Media Studies.

Dr. Gloria Emeagwali is Professor of History at Central Connecticut State University, USA. She is the Chief Editor of the quarterly periodical Africa Update. She received the Distinguished Research Excellence Award in African Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 and the Distinguished Africanist Award, New York African Studies Association, 2019. She is the Founding Coordinator of African Studies at CCSU as well as an amateur film maker.
