Embroidered Modern Bird and Nature Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillow Sham Set, Full/Queen, Red - Blue Nile Mills

This duvet cover is well made. The embroidery work is top notch. The yellow bird's embroidery design is nicely laid out.The branches' embroidery work is very tasteful. The branches are GRAY up close, which I had not noticed online. The seams look nice. The design looks nice with my new rug. My throw pillows look good with the duvet cover set in spite of the branches embroidered on the pillows.The fabric? It is more like a bright white, medium+ weight, medium level quality sheet. It should soften with each washing though.... Not sure the dye from the embroidery would not run, especially since yellow is involved, but presuming that it is quality embroidery thread, that should not be a problem?The ultra bright white is a tad more white than I am looking for. If you want or could work with a bright white cover, though, this might be just right for you.I'm not confident about cleaning any stubborn-natured smudges. It's not like my synthetic cover that simply wipes clean with a wet rag between washes. Soaking out a stain with this duvet cover is also concerning because of the embroidery work... So, in retrospect, I realized that, if this design was produced using synthetic fabric, I'd be more comfortable with committing to care for this cover.The wrinkle concern seems real as well. Since this feels like heavy weight, medium quality sheeting material, and since sheets wrinkle, how wrinkly might this become. I forgot to squeeze a small section in my hand to test how wrinkled it can get. If I had, I'd know more to share in this review, but the bright white left me packaging this up for a return. *IF* this does wrinkle, and if you are not prone to want a well tailored look, and if you let this cover wrinkle uniformly, it might be just right for you anyway. Otherwise, you ***might*** have quite a bit of pressing to doOverall, this is a lovely duvet cover. It really caught my eye online. I'd be kicking myself through the years wishing I had purchased it if I had not been able to see it in person. So thank you Shopify for carrying this item. Sorry that it didn't work out for me. Hopefully this review helps others know more before deciding whether to order it for themselves.Too bad it's just too white for my room.Thanks again....

Loved light blanket to add to foot of bed and natch my plum curtains. Decent quality but it snags easily with your your rings
