Other reviews have stated that the stools are wobbly and they are correct. This is NOT an issue with assembly. The center screw has too much play in it and the seats are very unstable. This is a design flaw, not an assembly issue. I have only had these chairs for 4-5 months----Worst purchase I have made in a long time.

Adjustable bar stools - a must have for Farmhouse kitchens.
I had different stools on order from a local furniture store, but they were back ordered for over 5 months. I got 4 of these for our center island within a week of ordering them. A great feature is the height variability/adjustability. They were easy to put together. I highly recommend these; they are perfect for my farmhouse decor.

There is too much play in
There is too much play in the center screw that holds the seat therefore making it very wobbly when sitting on them. Customer Service inferred that we didn't put them together properly, but my husband assembled them and there is no other way to do it. When you wiggle the seat, you can see that there is too much play in the central mechanism and not enough cross support under the seat. I would not purchase these. You can find sturdier ones elsewhere. I do not expect these to last very long with normal usage.

I purchased three of these as a gift for my son in his new house. After assembling them, all three are very wobbly when you sit on them. It doesn’t appear to have enough support under the seat. I’ve seen others at Home Goods that were very sturdy and assumed these would be too. Very disappointed in my purchase. I don’t expect them to last very long.

Good quality
Pleased with this purchase. They are sturdy, true to the color advertised. The height adjusts which makes it very beneficial. They look great. There was a minor flaw in the surface on two of the six that I ordered, though overall minimal.

I took away 2 stars because, of the two I got, the legs on one of them were very wobbly. I fixed it with some felt tips cut to size. Also, one of the stool's seats won't go down all the way due to the threads being off. Unfortunately, it's hard to get anything made right nowadays. The foot rests' holes were also difficult to get lined up with the holes in the legs. They are pretty and seem sturdy once we got them put together.

Took a year to find the right Bar Stools, Lamps Plus made it happen.
We have looked in twenty plus stores, on line in another ten to fifteen. Lamps Plus had the one that we said " That's the one, get three of them". And we did, now out kitchen is complete.
