Love The Locking Feature
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love using this water bottle. It’s easy to use and keeps liquids cold for hours. My kids were using a different brand before and loved those when they were younger. Now that they’re older they like having a more grown up version and this is perfect. It holds 18oz of water and is easy for them to refill at school when needed. It has a lock so they don’t accidentally open it in their backpack. It’s easy to clean which is a big plus.

TERRIBLE QUALITY
No sooner did the company send a replacement that the lid broke again. 4 LIDS IN 4 MONTHS is insane in this economy. My kids each have a thermos funtainer that’s five years old and is in great shape. I will NEVER EVER EVER buy another Ello product again. They’re more than aware there is a quality issue with this item and yet, this bottle is still for sale. It’s actually criminal at this point. Save your money - buy a thermos or an Owala.

Great for keeping in backpack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom, I love the functionality of this water bottle. I love that my son can sip from the straw and also chug from the spout. I love the fact that it has a locking mechanism so when it’s in his backpack, if it happens to spill, it doesn’t get on his school computer or anything else inside his backpack. It’s been pretty easy to clean so far. Hope this water bottle lasts him a while.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water bottle is durable and a great size for kids. It's easy to carry by the handle or the bottle. The top has a lot for the flip top and water can either be drunk through a straw with a silicone top or open top. My daughter loves it.

Not for kids, nice for Mom!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of this water bottle. It is sleek and simple. And stainless steel is always a big plus! It’s the perfect size for me, as well. I’m not thrilled with water bottles that come with the detachable straw, though. I have so many and can’t keep track of which straw goes with which bottle. I also don’t like that the water bottle leaks if opened and knocked over. This is why I’m keeping it for myself rather than letting my kids use it. When sealed shut and the straw in place it doesn’t leak, but once opened it will leak. I’d like to use it for coffee, but the sipping apparatus is more for water so I’ll use it to sip water when on the go.

The lid broke after one month of use. I wrote to the company and they sent a new lid, albeit it took a while to arrive. New lid also broke within a month of use.

Would be great if lid didnt break
Would be a great water bottle if the lid didn’t break easily. Just purchased a second on to replace the first and broke within weeks. On the website the lids are all sold out, so this seems to be a common issue with this product. Moving onto a different brand.

Such a nice bottle!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son automatically claimed this bottle. It has a flip top lid that can lock. That’s nice for backpack transport. It keeps the water nice and cold too which is a plus for hot days. It has a detachable straw inside for easy cleanup. The drink spout is rubber which I love. The ones I’ve purchased previously have hard plastic mouthpieces. I feel like I can’t get those clean and there are always bite marks on them. The lid of this bottle also has a little handle so it could be clipped on a bag for transport or just to hold it.
