Elite Cuisine 5-Tray Stainless Steel Digital Food Dehydrator

So now we slice it and put it in the dehydrator and that extends the life of the fruit and saves a bit of money. Super easy to operate as it comes with instructions for each type of fruit. Easy to clean up afterwords. It doesn’t get too hot so there’s no risk of getting burned.

Well, I don’t have a lot of counter space in my kitchen and having an appliance that only takes up two tissue boxes worth of space is huge!!! Not only is space usage a huge plus but the EliteGourmet dehydrator is WHISPER quiet. In fact, I thought the unit was broken when I made my first batch of beef jerky. I turned it on and couldn’t hear a thing. Remarkable as every dehydrator I have used before seems to always have loud fans. I’ve actually put off dehydrating in the past because I wasn’t in the mood to hear a blowing fan in my house for hours. Now, I’ve made plenty of batches of jerky without even know the EliteGourmet is even on. I highly recommend you start with the recipes included with the machine. They are all tailored to work best with the EliteGourmet and I’ve since adjusted other recipes to match what EliteGourmet recommends; such as, how thick to cut your jerky before dehydrating. I find that any issues I have had have been through user error, not the machine itself. It does a great job of dehydrating without having areas in the unit that dehydrate better than other areas. As long as you don’t overcrowd the trays, keep the items you are dehydrating equal in size, and use the correct temp, you’ll have great success. Can’t believe I didn’t know about the EliteGourmet before. Thoroughly impressed!!!

It’s super quiet so you can run it all night (which you will probably have to because a lot of things require 12-14 hours or more to dehydrate). The design is very sleek and it’s easy to clean. All the tray and racks can be hand washed. I dehydrated eggs and they turned out perfectly! I love that it has a light so you can turn it in to see how everything is coming along without having to open the doors. This is amazing for anyone looking for more ways to store food and prevent waste. I love ours!

It has multiple trays that can hold a lot, plus easy-to-use temperature and timer controls. The clear viewing window is a nice touch for keeping an eye on your food as it dries. The main goal for me was to easily dehydrate fruits and vegetables to create all-natural, healthy snacks — and it delivered! Cleaning was a breeze, too. Although it’s dishwasher safe, I handwashed the trays with hot water, and everything literally slid right off. I love that for me. Being so easy to clean makes me want to use it more often. It’s also super quiet, which is a huge plus. The performance is great, and thanks to the even air flow, you can dehydrate different types of foods at the same time. My first two test items were oranges and strawberries — after thinly slicing them, the process was simple, and they turned out beautifully. I’m excited to try more fruits, veggies, and even experiment with making things like beef jerky. The only thing to keep in mind is the thickness of your slices since that affects dehydration time. Other than that, it’s so straightforward that even kids could help use it. I may have to play with it to get things perfect, but I like it. Overall, I’m genuinely happy with the Elite Gourmet Food Dehydrator — it’s efficient, quiet, easy to clean, and perfect for healthy homemade snacks.

I was able to fit 2lbs of marinated sliced round of eye for jerky easily. I followed a jerky recipe in the recipe book that is provided and it turned out so good! I would definitely recommend this for someone who doesn’t have a ton of space to spare but would still like to dehydrate things in small amounts

My previous dehydrator only had on/off and a knob for the temperature so it was a complete guess as to the actual settings. This one allows you to set the exact time and temperature and counts down as it runs. You can add time or change the temperature as it runs. I did a batch of apples and oranges and it came out beautifully.

It’s so straight forward and so easy to operate. You can select a temperature setting from 95F to 194F and a timer up to 48 hours. You get 5 very sturdy stainless steel trays and one fruit roll tray. The trays are super easy to wash. It also includes an interior light which is so convenient. In 4.5 hours I was able to make my own homemade chicken jerky cat treats. My cat loves them!
