Elevated Coastal Reversible Cotton Quilt Set - Great Bay Home (Twin / Twin XL, Pineapple Grove)

I purchased this quilt in a Queen size for my regular (no extra height) Queen sized mattress, and wish I'd ordered a King size. The quilt barely covers the mattress on all sides with no extra overhang. The 2 pillow shams accommodate rather flat, standard sized pillows, but would not close over an extra stuffed pillow. The print in gray blue hues is very pretty, reversible, and just like the photos. Calling this a "quilt" rather than a bedspread is a bit of a stretch. It's very thin and lightweight, and seems to only have the thinnest layer of polyester batting inside, and is channel stitched. It works for N. California summers where I live. Finally, the cotton fabric is somewhat rough, and not a "voile" that I usually prefer. Perhaps it will soften over time with washing. Overall, I'd suggest sizing up for a more luxurious look in your bedroom.

I ordered a queen and is perfectly oversized, wide enough to drape over the sides of my bed. The design is just freaking adorable, makes me feel like I’m back in Hawaii with the pineapples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect summer quilt. My bedroom can get quite hot in the spring and summer so I usually switch to lighter blankets. This keeps me warm but I don't get hot in the night. The quilting is comfortable and I love how it's reversible. We just painted our room from navy blue to gray and still have several navy blue accents. This quilt set could not match our room any more than it does. I absolutely would recommend this and would purchase other sets in a different pattern.

It’s very light weight and held up great after being washed and dried. The quilt is reversible but the other side doesn’t match the pillow shams or the rest of the quilt, so it doesn’t look good folded over in my opinion. I love the size of the quilt, which covers the sides of the bed well, but I wish the shams were a bit bigger, as they didn’t fully cover my pillows in the back. The material itself is quite scratchy. It’s noticeable on the pillow shams, if you ever lay your face against them or hug them while sleeping. This lightweight cotton set would be ideal for hot summer nights but wouldn’t be enough otherwise, especially if you run cold like me. I’m currently using it on top of a weighted blanket (in SoCal spring weather), which is perfect for me.

For winter though I feel I will need to add a thin blanket. I was very surprised with the quality of the quilt set. The quilt and shams are made well.

This quilt is different from all the other ones I have because the other ones have polyester mixed with cotton, while this one is made of 100% pure cotton. It’s really worth the price and made of comfortable, environmentally friendly material. You can use it in all seasons!
