EKO Horizon 50L Sensor Bin Brushed Stainless Steel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely the nicest design I’ve ever had for a trash bin. The maintenance to clean it and move it is super easy. Even if I do t want the lid to be powered it’s still a great bin. So far it has been really durable and reliable in my household.

It’s a standard size trashcan that should fit in any room and has a good price point. I took off 1 star because the lid is just slightly cheap feeling but overall I would recommend.

Having the stainless steel exterior is very modern and blends well with your kitchen appliances. My favorite feature is the sensor that allows you to be hands free for opening the lid when you go to throw something out. Very unique design and absolutely recommend.

It looks modern in my kitchen and is tall enough so that my 15month old cannot reach the top yet to dig through the trash, which is a plus. I also love that you can use it with or without the sensor. Looks so sharp, especially with other stainless steel appliances - yeah, it's a garbage can but it's what everybody in the kitchen sees. No fingerprint issues. Streamlined small footprint but large capacity. All kitchen trash bags fit but EKO makes some good extra-strong ones. Large opening minimizes spills. Opens quietly with lid design that doesn't bang into the wall. Motion sensor and other setting buttons are perfect.

It was easy to set up and came with its own large trash bags. Our standard 13 gallon bags fit it well too. It has a bag holder for extra security. I love the fact that it takes AA batteries and not larger D batteries. It was packed extremely well. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The EKO Horizon 50L Sensor Bin is quiet and so fast! It is so convenient to be able to wave your hand in front of the bin and have it open. No more dirty hands leaving bacteria and germs on the trash can lid! I also like that it has 2 modes for opening. The first is the motion sensor where you wave your hand. The second is a touch mode. It also has a count down to close which you can easily see with lights. Very cool! Instead of a full inner trash can that you attach the bag to, this EKO bin has a liner ring that trash bag attached too which is very easy to use and also doesn’t take up as much space as the traditional inner bin. Overall, the bin is very spacious and makes life so much easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly to this trash can was super easy. Self explanatory. It requires 4 double A batteries for the sensor part to work. You can turn the feature on and off when ever you like. The sound of it is very soft. You get used to it. Just waive your hand and the sensor will activate. Just make sure when you add the bag you do make sure to snug it in right. The trash bin doesn’t have an inside part so you have to to make sure to install the top part correctly.
