Cleans my dishes without giving me a headache and the price is right!
This dish washing product is exactly what I look for in cleaning products. I dislike overly-scented lotions or cleaners, they give me headaches. This product is gently scented, I can barely notice the scent, it's not too sudsy and it's safe for the environment.

A New Discovery
I use this product specifically as a hand soap. I find it to be very soothing to the skin and my hands feel soft after use. The scent is nice too!

I love it. Cuts through grease and easy to rinse and smells great. I bought 10 bottles because sometimes it’s hard to find and I don’t want to ever rub out of it!

Smells Great, But Doesn't Suds Up Well
This Dish Soap Smells Great, Good Quality, but Does Not 'Suds' Up Like I Prefer...I seem to have to use more of it because of this...and a 'Pump' would be a preferred way to Dispense also, maybe I'll just move this Dish Soap to an old 'Method' Dish Soap Dispenser...Overall it's a good product...maybe those things are just a quirky thing that I like....so if those things don't bother you, you'll probably Love It! ~SnowBunnyInIdaho

GREAT scents, average cleaning
Safe and non-toxic, FABULOUS scents (apricot and almond and grapefruit, too). For average cleaning it does ok and is the best of the non-toxic dish detergents we've tried. However, it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on greasy dishes/surfaces. Zilch. Have a bottle of something else on hand for the big jobs. Dr. Bronner's SalSuds does great for these occasions if you don't want all the toxicity of Dawn.

better on the hands
I got this soap because regular dishsoap is really hard on my hands. This is more gentle on them, though if I am doing a lot of dishes, my hands will still dry out somewhat, just not as badly. The scent is strong, but does smell like pear. It doesn't stretch quite as far as normal dishsoap, but still cleans well.

I like the idea of "all natural" and "no chemicals", and this is it, but not that effective on grease. I have to use a lot of detergent in order to make it strong enough to wash the grease from the dishes. I don't think that I will buy this one again.

Not good on grease
I thought at first that this dishwashing liquid would be fine as it seemed to clean well, but it turns out that I just had't put it to the test yet. That first batch was a very small quantity of dishes and they weren't greasy. When I tried to do regular dinner dishes, I found that this product isn't good on grease at all unless you use a huge amount, which then makes the product too expensive to buy. In addition, even though the product said it contained no perfumes, the pear oil it uses for fragrance can't possibly be healthy or even benign, because it always made my nose feel uncomfortable when I used it and made me get a funny feeling like it may be going to give me a headache. I normally don't read directions on dishwashing liquid, as, what is there to say? However, I did take a look at these directions after the fact, and that tells it all: "For average cleaning, use 1 fluid ounce of Dishmate to every 3 gallons of water. You may increase or decrease this amount depending on the amount of grease." One ounce of liquid is quite a lot, and then to have to increase that amount even more for greasy dishes, is REALLY a lot of liquid. I guess they realize their product isn't that great on grease.

finally a earth friendly soap that works.
I bought this product two weeks ago and love it. It works with greasy pans, is easy on the hands, and smells heavenly. Also, I plan to use it in my liquid soap pumps for hand washing.
