Dried Sweetened Mangos - 6oz - Good & Gather™

This tastes only like sugar I feel like there is no real mango in this.

Too sweet It’s only sugar, can’t taste the mango

I received these as a stocking stuffer because it is well known I love dried fruit. Now, some of the problem is I snacked on the entire bag in two days... my understanding is dried mango requires a lot more moderation than that, with all the fiber, sugar, and often the sulfite preservatives. But this was listed as having been made with only mango, sugar, and citric acid, so I was less concerned about the presence of any preservatives other than citric acid. Suffice it to say I got very sick (no further details), with a slight hint of "sulfur burps" - in the absence of sulfite preservatives? As a chemist, I also need to ask, if there are only three ingredients, where is the justification for the warning "MAY CONTAIN EGG, MILK, PEANUT, SOY, SESAME, TREE NUTS AND WHEAT." I gave it two stars because I cannot 100% blame the product for my illness, and the texture and flavor was great. But I do have strong suspicions, being the only individual who got sick at/after the holiday festivities.

These taste bad and then u bite into them and the texture is awful

This product is not like any dried or dehydrated mango I’ve ever purchased. The flavor is off as well as the texture. Many of the pieces were plastic like. I threw the bag away.

People who say they would return them if they could, you can. Target stands by their guarantee that if you don’t like their Good and Gather items you get your money back. Something I love about target. So don’t stress when you don’t like something, they will give you your money back.

These are not dried mangoes at all. They're very pale and taste more like a artificial mango concentrate fruit gummy

I would not recommend this. It’s far too sugary. I wish I had read the label, which clearly states there is added sugar. Mango is plenty sweet by itself, I don’t know why anyone thought mango needs additional sugar.

Awful. Bad texture and flavor. Don’t waste your money

The flavor is not good. They taste very perfumy and fake. The texture was fine; the taste, not so much.

Tastes like candy but a little bit healthier than plain candy. The dried mango is chewy, not hard or too dry. Awesome snack to have!

These don’t taste like anything. After I bite into a piece I get a hint of sugar and not much else. I remember these being pretty good in the past. It’s a shame that they lost their once delicious flavor, Bummer.
