Q: Will this make the skin peel on your feet afterwards?

submitted by B - 26 days ago
  • A: Hello! The Dr. Scholl's Dry, Cracked Skin Ultra-Hydrating Foot Mask is designed for deep hydration, not exfoliation, so it typically does not cause significant peeling. It uses oils to soften skin, unlike the Dr. Scholl's Ultra-Exfoliating Foot Mask, which causes peeling within 2-7 days.

Q: Will these fit men’s size 12 feet?

submitted by R - 2 months ago
  • A: Yes, Dr. Scholl's foot masks (both hydrating and exfoliating types) are designed as "one size fits most" and should comfortably fit a men's size 12 foot. They are made as booties, so the elastic closure and flexible material adapt well to different foot sizes for effective treatment. Hope this helps!

Q: How often can you use these? Daily, weekly, etc?

submitted by Marissa - 11 months ago
  • A: Hi there! Hydrating or soothing masks can be used 2-3 times per week or as needed to replenish moisture.

Much better options; skip it

Like others mentioned, the outside of the booties were completely soaked with the tapes slid off. I've purchased a number of foot masks. Only the insides of the booties should be wet; tapes should be dry so they can stick to close the booties. So, a mess to get out of the package, a mess to put on, and you're on your own to get them to close. I put on a pair of socks over the wet mess. It has some decent ingredients but is overly smelly. Need to get rid of the linalool. Hydration is not as effective as other brands. Can't recommend and won't buy again.

Not as advertised.

I tried this product a few weeks ago and it was a horrible mess. When I opened the outer package, the booties inside were all slick like the package had leaked. I struggled to get them open because they were so slippery and wet. Once I finally got them open, the little sticky tab to hold them on was useless. It would not stick to the bootie part at all. I kept thinking that perhaps I just bought a bad bag of foot masks or something was wrong with that one package. Stupidly, I went to a different store and bought two more just to give them a fair review. This time I planned ahead and it's good that I did because the masks or socks were all wet again. I dried them with a towel so that I was able to rip them apart where the foot inserts, but it was still very difficult. I did get them open. The little tab with the back removed to reveal the sticky part still would not stick, but along with the towel to dry them, I had some tight socks on hand to hold the masks onto my feet. So plan ahead. You'll need a towel to dry the product in order to get it open. You'll need some tight socks to hold the product on your foot for 30 minutes because the tabs are useless. Will I buy more? No. Furthermore, I have not noticed any difference in the dry skin on my feet even after all this.

Dissatisfied

Dissatisfied. It was hard to open the booties; I was t able to do it correctly. Adhesive closures didn’t work, odor was objectionable.

Made my feet feel good!

I didn’t find the packaging hard to open. These are affordable and made my feet feel great! Couldn’t ask for much more.

Good WHEN they open.

I have used these in the past and really liked them, but I just purchased 2 and they were impossible to use. The booties would not open—and one I finally got them open, they were torn down the side. Also: just went to submit this review and you have to accept terms and conditions. Except the link to the T&C is a 404

Leaking before opened

I got these to help hydrate my feet, and when I opened the package there was a very strong peppermint odor and the outside of the boots before I opened them were damp. I had to rinse them off before using since I didn’t want oil all over my floors. Not to mention the sticky tab did not work because of the outer layer of them being damp.

Awful Product

I’d give zero stars if that were an option. These should be removed and discontinued if the company cannot do better. They were gifted to me at Christmas and if had paid a dime of my own money I’d demand it refunded. Opening these is impossible. Once open you have to manually separate the inside to create a boot. The ankle sticker falls off the package when you attempt to remove the backing as directed. There is no sticky on the ankle sticker so you can tighten it as directed even if you wanted. This isn’t poor quality, it’s no quality. Do not waste your money or time on these!

HORRIBLE Product

I have used many foot masks, and am a pretty easy-to-please person… but Dr. Scholls should be absolutely embarrassed that they sell this product. I settled in for what I hoped to be a relaxing experience, and first had to battle the foot masks to try and open them. This has to be a defect, but I’ve seen it mentioned in so many reviews. After multiple attempts to get them open, hands covered in goo, I gave up and got some scissors. Once the masks were on my feet, the sticky tabs were useless. No stick! The worst part: not only did they not soften my feet, they left me with peeling skin all over my feet AND hands (I guess just from the battle to open them!). I double checked they weren’t a peeling mask. Two weeks later and I still look like I have leprosy. Absolute disaster, uncomfortable, ugly. This product should not only be removed from the product line, but probably recalled. Unless you like to be frustrated and want to look like you have leprosy, avoid at all costs!

Quality lacking.

Tabs do not work. The adhesive is nonexistent. When the top is pulled apart the cloth rips and it’s only on one side. I’m feeling the tingling and burning others have described.

Pick Something Else

This is the absolute worst-constructed foot mask of all the brands. Nightmare application... should not be this difficult. Felt wet before opening the booties. The top is not open and does not easily tear open. Still not sure if the cloth was supposed to cover both sides of foot, it was only on one side with no obvious way to separate. Tape tab had zero adhesive. My foot started tingling slightly burning within minutes as if it were medicated versus simply hydrating. Will not buy again! Trusted your name because you are the friggin foot doctor. This product was not quality tested.

The icy/hot feeling lasted for hours. Very uncomfortable, but my feet were soft. But will try another brand.

Foot mask

I've tried 2 packages so far. I can NOT get them open to slip on. The second set I tried to cut open and even that was ugly.

Peeling foot mask

If I could give zero I would. Maybe I didn’t read but I wasn’t aware these would peel all the dead skin off my feet. That’s great in theory but when I showered the next day both of my feet began peeling and are still peeling almost a week later. Good thing it’s winter and not summer so my feet are tucked away but stills

Terrible manufacturing, but great on feet

I’ve used a couple of these and the first thing is the sticker never-ever works and second, the seam never pulls apart and I have to tear them open.

Major disappointment

Lotion is also on outside of boot, messy. Difficult to open boot so you can put your foot in. Tab to tighten boot to foot, one fell off, the other did NOT adhere. Major disappointment from "how to use" video.

Just ok

Not that effective, have tried better ones like the aquaphor brand. If you’re looking for something very hydrating. Also of note, it’s quite small and won’t fit men’s feet!

The aquaphor mask is so much better. Somehow liquid is already all over the outside when you open the packaging even though the bootie itself feels impossible to open. The tabs don’t stick because of all the product that leaked into the package.
