A fun twist on Dr Pepper!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We pick blackberries every August because they grow like crazy in the South. Dr Pepper did a good job of incorporating that real flavor into this soda, and unlike some other reviews that I’ve seen, I don’t think they went too far. I’d compare it with Cherry Coke in terms of the balance between the base soda and the new flavor, but maybe a little heavier on the blackberry. I found it to be very sweet, crisp, and pleasant. The scent and carbonation were not over whelming by any means (some soda creates heartburn when I drink it). My concern was that it would taste medicinal. Like cough syrup. That’s not the case at all, and I was pleasantly surprised. Is Dr. Pepper Blackberry good? Yes. And it's hard to miss that vibrant packaging that sucks you right in!

This is a great drink. It actually tastes like blackberry. Unlike other berry and fruit flavored drinks that don't even come close. I have enjoyed ever can an bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the Dr Pepper Blackberry flavor. It still has the classic Dr Pepper taste, but the blackberry adds a smooth, fruity twist that isn’t too sweet or artificial. The aroma is refreshing, and the aftertaste is clean without any syrupy feel. If you like berry flavors but don’t want something overpowering, this is a great choice. I would definitely buy it!

Not impressed
The blue berry flavor may have worked if it were sweeter. It taste as if the regular is zero sugar. It also taste as if you’ve stripped all of the Dr Pepper flavor and laid the blueberry additive with zero sugar.

I LOVVVVVE THIS NEW FLAVOR... I'm not normally one who likes anything " blackberry ",,,, but omg., this is delicious... I have been drinking the Strawberry and cream soda, but now the Blackberry has won out... Packs a punch, not some wimpy coolaide taste.. Pleasssse don't cut this flavor out..

Dreadful cough syrup 6 packs
I was looking forward to enjoying the Blackberry Dr. Pepper, but after a few sips, it didn't quite meet my expectations, as I could taste a flavor reminiscent of cough syrup. I would appreciate it if you could consider bringing back the Cherry Dr. Pepper 6-packs and perhaps reevaluate the placement of the Blackcherry cough syrup variety on the shelves. Honestly if I could leave a review less than 1 I would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed it. Upon opening the can, I can immediately taste the blackberry. It’s tart, but smooth. It blends with the Dr. Pepper exceptionally. I’d say the flavor is about 60% blackberry, 40% Dr. Pepper. That being said, it’s not overpowering, and isn’t too sweet.
