Q: How do you know which side is "up"?

  • A: Yes, the polyester 'cloud top' will feel like the soft side. The bottom of the featherbed you will feel the feathers much more easily. Another shortcut is look at the law label - if the writing is facing up then it is likely in the right side since it is added in manufacturing when the item is cloud side up. Thanks, DOWNLITE

Q: How does the pad stay on the bed without bunching? Are there straps that just don't appear in these images? Do you have to purchase an additional (perfect size) mattress cover to place over this one?

  • A: This feather bed simply sits on top of your mattress. Weight appx 20 pounds this item will not move and with regular weekly fluffing (or even better daily) you will be able to position it square on the bed. We strongly suggest adding a waterproof mattress cover or mattress pad to go on top of this feather bed. Thanks, DOWNLITE p.s. are feather beds a lot of work? Yes, but the feeling is unlike anything else and once you try it you will never want to use that firm stiff mattress anymore!

Resort Quality!

This mattress topper is sooo comfortable! I recently stayed at a resort in Cabo that had something very similar. This product does not disappoint! I bought it when it was half off and now I know its worth! I bought a twin XL for my side of the king bed and it has been such a blessing for me. Fits perfect under my deep pockets king sheets.

Very cushiony

This adds a lot of needed softness to my hard mattress. It’s not too soft. Almost feels like laying on a cloud. I was only going to leave 4 stars because it does have to adjusted and fluffed regularly but that’s inevitable with a feather filled anything. Overall, it’s really plump and soft

Absolutely Worth It!

I was nervous about purchasing something of this price, but the sale price was unbeatable and it was our last hope before purchasing a new mattress. This has absolutely changed our sleep game. My husband sleeps like a baby and so do I. Best money I’ve ever spent our bed!

Yesssss!!

Okay let me start by saying I had a feather down pillow top. This was a last resort to not replace my mattress. This has been the best one by far!!!!! It’s really plush and feels exactly like a hotel bed now! Don’t think about it get it!! I also purchased their body pillow and I’m anxiously awaiting it’s arrival!

Excellent Quality & Thickness

The feather bed is better than expected. It's filled with enough feathers that it holds shape overnight, even in curves. I fluff it before each use, as recommended. I use it for overall body support for back and hip problems during pregnancy. I use it with a maternity c-shaped pillow and my pain has gone from a 9/10 to a 1/10. I've had it a little over a month and use it nightly. It doesn't make me overheat while its warm out and I'm naturally hot. I wiped away an old chocolate stain very easily, though I should probably have a sheet/ cover for easy washing. It's too big for a standard washer. I don't regret the buy and I can think of multiple uses for it, if I stop using it on my bed.
