This is one of the best volumizing shampoo and conditioner that I have ever used. Most leave your hair feeling greasy or gloopy this one leaves your hair clean looking and soft as well as giving wonderful volume. Noticeable volume as I have been receiving feedback and compliments. Love it!
Fantastic shampoo! My fine hair and oily scalp need to be washed daily and my usual shampoo and conditioner were not cutting it to the point where I had to use tons of shampoo and my styling products just made my hair limp and greasy. Abbey Yung’s recommendation of Dove shampoos lead me to this. I can honestly say this is my new favorite shampoo. It cleans so well without leaving my hair full of residue. YES TO SULFATES AND SILICONES! I also like that there’s no animal testing. Hopefully Dove will continue to go further with greening their products, like Garnier has done.

Not for me
My hair smelled like a dryer sheet and it was giving me a headache. I washed twice with a different shampoo to get the smell out and it still smells strongly like a dryer sheet. It did give volume but that intense smell makes it not worth it to me. My scalp was also very itchy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know why it’s taken this long to realize the way that thickening shampoos and products work is by creating a more textured surface. Whether that is by stripping your hair of natural oils or my depositing something onto the hair follicle to make it textured. And the products that make your hair all slippery and sleek have done the opposite- they’ve removed that friction. So anyway, yeah, this shampoo does that. My hair felt rougher and after drying it gave the appearance of being thicker.
