It’s sweet, but not in a bad way just strong, definitely noticeable, so if you like fragranced body care, you’ll probably enjoy it. As expected from Dove, it’s very moisturizing, which is one of the main reasons I like their products. It does exfoliate, but very gently. I personally wish it had more exfoliating beads or grit because when I think of a body scrub, I expect a stronger scrubby feel. This one feels more like a creamy polish than a true exfoliator. That said, it leaves my skin soft and hydrated, not stripped or dry. The packaging is cute and feels generous, and you do get a good amount of product. Overall, it’s a nice option if you want gentle exfoliation with moisture, but if you’re looking for a heavy duty scrub, this might feel a bit too mild.

I have tried a few of these dove body scrubs, and they do seem to all be like that, so if you’re looking for a lighter natural scent this may not be for you. I do also wish it was a little “scrubbier” - the scrubbing texture is a little too fine for my preference, I didn’t feel like it was really scrubbing my skin as much as others I have tried. The packaging is simple and easy to open/close. I felt like it could have been sealed a little more securely though initially. Overall I like it and will use it, but it isn’t my favorite.
