[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hot cocoa swirl scented soap sounds good . I was hoping for a similar smell to one of my favorite scents. This only smells good in the box. For some reason every time I have ever tried anything from Doves Holiday limited edition scents it’s a disappointment. These items always have a sickening synthetic smell to them. This soap did make my skin feel soft , the only reason for the 2 stars.

It's a fresh quiet scent that can be use with other fragrances

Everyone loved the smell of their hands after washing them. In the bathroom and was asked multiple times what soap I had in there. The lather is good and helps your hands feel so clean and refreshed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m OBSESSED with Dove body products. I have so many of their bar soaps it’s a little extreme. I also pair their bar soaps with the body wash as well. I can only use Dove deodorant so I am always looking for new scents from dove. I was pleasantly surprised with this bar soap. I thought it would be an overpowering smell but it was just the right amount of sweet plus the classic dove clean smell that we all know and love. I also love how it lathers too. If you can’t get a good lather on your bar soaps I recommend a loofah or net sponge. It works amazing and really helps to make you feel extra clean. I also like how this scent can be paired well with other lotions and not be overpowering. It was a great smell during the holiday season!

But we really liked it. The scent is strong enough that the whole bathroom smelled like cocoa as soon as I opened the box but it was a nice scent rather than a really intense fake smell. And the soap left me feeling as clean, but not dried out, as I would expect from Dove soap.

Love, love, love!!! So glad Dove is finally making bar soap in these new scents.

The bar is a really good size and lasts a long time, even with daily use. It lathers beautifully with just a few swipes, creating a rich, creamy foam. Super moisturizing and feels sooo nice on my dry skin — no tight or dry feeling after showering. Hope Dove brings it back!

It lathers just as good as any other Dove soap but leaves zero scent on my skin after the shower. I wish the scent had been more on point.

It has the classic dove moisturizing properties great texture lather as well and is easy to apply and rinse off. It smells so yummy and I definitely recommend giving it a try.

I don’t know how Dove captured the hot cocoa scent so well, but this soap really, truly smells like a luxurious mug of homemade hot chocolate! The scent fills the room for the shower duration, bringing my senses some holiday joy. The scent doesn’t linger after the shower, which I actually prefer so it doesn’t compete with my perfumes. Being a Dove beauty bar, these still clean without stripping your body’s moisture; rinse off fully, leaving no residue and leave my skin feeling soft (never tight) after. I’ll be looking for these next year to add to my gifts as little extras.

While I agree the skin softening and moisture is there, there was so strong smelling even before I used while still in the box . Maybe chocolate scents aren’t for me.

It foams very well and cleanses the skin, and there is no feeling of dryness and tightness after washing. Although it foams quickly, it will last a long time..It has a good texture and is very gentle. I really like it and sincerely recommend.
