Dove Beauty Limited Edition Fall Holiday Treat Antiperspirant & Deodorant Stick - Maple Glazed Donut - 2.6oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I already use Done Antiperspirants, I already knew what to expect as far as performance, but to add in the maple donut touch really made me chuckle. The donut smell is a bit strong, but not off-putting. It actually smells like a maple donut which I never knew I would enjoy until I got this deodorant. If you are sensitive to smells, this might drive you crazy, but it doesn't last long. And, should you get overheated throughout the day, you won't have to worry about the donut smell popping up again. As for performance, it delivers on what it's supposed to do; no need to worry about dank, smelly pits. I did feel some moisture in my pits, but nothing crazy and I definitely didn't stink or experience any issues with odor.

I was concerned that there would be the smell of donuts whenever my body heat rises like during times of stress but it did not. It is an effective antiperspirant. It blocked underarm wetness. It was long lasting and got me through the day.

But the key question is: do you want your armpits to smell like a maple donut?? You know I thought maybe I would but this is not for me. But it really does smell like that so if you DO I think you'll like this.

It dries quickly, which I love because I can throw on clothes right after without worrying about that sticky feeling or it rubbing off. No white marks on my black shirts.

The scent alone I like, however I don’t really like it for a deodorant scent. Packaging is super cute but for some reason this one is flakier than the other kinds in the same product line

Smells so yummy and delicious!! But only when you first apply it. The smell does not linger. It will keep you protected for the day but it does not add any refreshing scent throughout the day like my regular dove deodorant does

I think the price for what you get is a much better value than some of the others that are more expensive. This feels silky going on and doesn't come off in chunks. The maple donut scent is to die for!

Honestly, I feel like a young girl would love this but for an adult it is just way too much sugar and spice and not very nice. I love dove and their products but this scent is just a little out there.

This Dove Maple Glazed Donut was surprisingly effective after I was initially repulsed by the strong maple smell. The scent diminished as the day wore on, but the effectiveness didn't. In fact, it stayed steady and lasted long enough not to need reapplication during the day, which is what is advertised. It applies smoothly and comes in beautiful festive packaging on the front. So, though one star is deducted for the strong maple smell, it does well at preventing odor.
