Yes, Unilever antiperspirant-deodorants – as do all antiperspirant-deodorants that comply with FDA regulations – contain aluminum (which is a safe and efficacious way to control sweat and associated body odors). According to the Personal Care Products Council, the overwhelming mass of toxicity data available does not indicate any risk of harmful effects from using any cosmetic/personal care products that contain Aluminum. A wonderful product is now slimy and useless
Ugg. This is now just a useless horrible product. It doesn't keep me dry, it doesn't keep from being stinky. It's slimy putting it on. The smell is gross. Which I would endure if it still worked but *SIGH* my favorite deodorant ever is gone. Why oh why oh why did the company change a brilliant product to one that is junk. I have to find a replacement, so if they ever change it back how will I know? I really hate this.

Bring back the 48 hr one
I've been using. This deodorant scent since I can remember, I typically get the 48 hr one until recently when that wasn't an option so I was forced to get the 72 hour one and wish I hadn't. This new formula doesn't work as well as the last one and after using it for some time have noticed that it leaves a powder residue on my clothes. I had a 48 hr one left and used that for a week to compare and sure enough it wasn't an issue. I wish I didn't have to switch but this might finally have me changing brands, which I'm sad about because this has been my scent for many years. I wish they would have kept the 48 hr as an option

Reaction to new formula
The new formula is horrible and gave me such a bad reaction of burning, itching, bumps, rash, and peeling. I had been using this deodorant and scent for years and the new formula went on slicker/wetter and I was in so much pain it’s still unbearable days later. I think I will be switching all of my Dove products for fear of reactions like this now. It’s unfortunate since I have sensitive skin and this always worked for me and the smell used to amazing as well. STAY FAR AWAY, DO NOT BUY

Not good anymore
The new formula is awful. The smell is sharp. No better word to describe it. It used to be fresh but now it is very chemical smelling. The new formula is causing my armpits to be itchy. The old one was smooth and hydrating. After many years of using Dove I am going to need to switch.

New formula is horrible. I have used this deodorant for as long as I can remember and am so disappointed in the new formula. The scent is overpowering and awful. It is powdery and yellowing. I can't understand why they would change the formula and active ingredient.

Loved this for years. The new stick I just bought leave my armpits sticky. It also has a very unpleasant smell. The cucumber smell was very soft and fresh, the new stick is very strong and overpowering. I can smell myself all day and it’s not good. I’m very dissatisfied with the new formula and will unfortunately need to find a new brand to replace Dove.
