Poor quality materials and construction

Save your money. I purchased 2 of these chairs which arrived yesterday, and I am returning them today. There is no varnish or any other finish on the wood, it is bare, sanded only. The seat cushion hides a thin piece of plywood covered by a piece of cheesecloth stapled on. The holes for attaching the seat to the base are mis-drilled, and one of the bolts never would install. Finally, the chair is very uncomfortable, even if supplemented with a cushion to support lower back.

Pretty light toned cane chairs

These are beautiful and the color/ tone is lovely. I fell in love right away. The only downside is the seat part underneath the cushion is not finished, it’s just a thin piece of wood with cheap with fabric covering it. It’s something I chose to live with because I like the overall look so much, but would’ve loved a ‘finished’ seat for the price.
