Dickies

Generally speaking, this jacket is pretty fantastic in material and cut. The cut is similar to an older style mechanic/work jacket that’s meant to sit at or slightly above your waist, sometimes to accommodate a tool belt. Usually when dickies releases something in this fit, they charge a frankly ridiculous amount that the quality does not make worth it, but I’m glad to see a more reasonably priced option. Now, the biggest issue: the wrists. I’m not sure who at dickies has been approving the wrist sizes for jackets, especially women’s jackets, but so many have INSANELY SMALL WRISTS. Even the large size I ordered seems like the wrists are intended for a child. Even they’re meant to be worn folded up, the wrist is ludicrously tight. My advice to consumers is to use a black hair tie, loop it through the wrist button hole and hook on to the wrist button. This makes the hole wide enough without having to deal with floppy cuffs. My advice to dickies- completely restructure your process for wrist measurements across the board, because I’ve had the same issue with my *mens* Eisenhower jacket.

It’s really cute, fits great, I’m pretty petite, 5’1” and I got a Small, and was worried that the sleeves would be too long, but they’re actually really great! The cuffs are a little tight, even on the biggest setting, like I can’t fit both my wrists and my hoodie cuffs through them, but it’s fine and honestly probably is helping me keep my cuffs clean at work. It’s breaking in great and I look great in it while running around on the farm or shopping, it’s really cute, has great pockets, and looks good with a lot of things.

Received many compliments! I wear and leg and it’s true to size. Only downfall is I washed it once and hung to dry and it faded a bit! So I’d recommend spot cleaning

Ordered a size medium. It ran very small. Would definitely suggest sizing up. It's a cropped kinf of short cut anyway, so think that might have made it worse.
