We had some trouble getting it to stay in place which was likely user error but it did seem to help with the discomfort. He used it 3 days before it healed enough. It really does feel better, but I don't know about 12 hour relief, although it is worth using this. It helps promote healing. I am just happy I am not constantly rubbing my tongue there. I did fin them hard to use though. I had trouble getting the covers to stay in place and felt like it took a while for the tablet to dissolve. I definitely feel like it helped heal the canker sore when I was able to keep them in place but not sure if I will purchase again.

It provides a barrier to rubbing against my teeth and also a deterrent to keep my tongue from poking at the sore! They can be a bit tricky to apply, and having to use more than one in an application is frustrating. Once they expand, I had an issue with it catching on my teeth some, but I'll gladly take that over the sore rubbing against my teeth! These are a blessing overnight!
