Demeyere Industry 5-Ply Stainless Steel 15.7 X 13.3-inch Roasting Pan

I bought this roasting pan online about three years ago. It was sight unseen, but when comparing the description, measurements, and presumed level of quality, I took the leap. Given that I only use a roasting pan about five times a year, the price gave me anxiety. However, when it arrived it was beautifully stylish, and the quality was clearly evident. Three years later, I still don’t use it frequently (but it could definitely handle frequent use), but every time I do I fall in love with it again. It is truly gorgeous and robust beyond belief. The sides are low enough, and the rack high enough, that the underside of meats get roasted uniformly. It cleans up very easily, conducts and holds heat extremely well, and I’m pretty sure it is the last roasting pan I’ll ever need. And guess what…..I have not thought about the price difference between it and other quality roasting pans since the second I opened the box it came in! The only reason I gave it four stars rather than five is due to the price…plus the fact that what constitutes ‘perfect’ is based on the needs and priorities of the user/buyer. If you want ‘top shelf’ and have the dough, it is perfect. If price is more important and you can accept a slightly lower level of quality, there are options. That said, I have no doubt this thing will live on like the iron skillet everyone’s Grandmother had, many of which are still in-use.

Handles are great to lift pan out of the oven. It is made in Belgium from high quality material and is very sturdy. Cannot wait to try it out and hope to use it for many years. I had to buy 2 because of my growing family and know these pans are better than any other roasting pans I have seen in the market.

Finally I found a roasting pan large enough to roast vegetables without crowding the pan, and heavy enough to avoid burning them on the bottom.

My wife and I love it. Roasts perfectly and cleans up easily. We like that it can transfer to the stovetop too!

Despite being relatively expensive but on par with other competitive cookware, the quality of the Demeyere Lasagna Pan is best-in-class quality. I have made several lasagna and casserole dishes and this pan produces even heat which cooks perfectly---NOTE: I use this pan a lot on my grill (indirect heat) and the bottom layers of the lasagna/casserole does have a tendency to stick which I have to soak the pan to clean; however, the handles do stain and is hard to remove even with the recommended cleaners. Bottomline, a great addition to my cooking collection and looking forward to many years of use.

This beautiful roaster has so many great features not found in your typical, everyday pan. It's the amazing 5ply construction that's going to heat quickly and evenly, perfect for browning gravy or making lasagna. I love the thoughtful feature of handles that go up instead of out to the side. It makes it so much easier loading a turkey in the oven and is especially nice if your oven size is limited. Plus they're textured making it easier to grip. The non stick rack is perfect for roasts, turkey or ham. The stainless steel surface cleans up easily and will look like new after every use. You may buy it for the holidays but you'll be using it year round.
