When I purchased this gift card, it was a great deal. I purchased it when they had a spend a certain amount and receive Target Circle 360 free for a year. I read the instructions when I got the email, waited a day or so and booked my trip. I also saved an extra 5 percent off for using my Target card. Bring more of these deals Target🌞

IT WORKED!
Got 6 of the $500 cards with my circle card for 5% off ($150 off!) for an upcoming trip my mom & brother are going on 🙂. Just wanted to say it DID work for us the codes worked out just fine. We received the emails within 10 minutes of purchase (could be up to 4 hours it said) and then used them the same day. Saved $150 and the codes worked ◡̈ Good experience! And we’ll be doing this sort of thing in the future for sure!

Don't Buy
Bought this about three days ago, and Delta continues to have no record of this card- so I either got a nonworking code, or these take an unreasonably long time to activate. Had to spend upwards of an hour on the phone to get a refund from Target (some credit where it's due for ultimately taking accountability- even if I had to press them).

Good way to save, but buy with caution
I love being able to save the extra 5% using Target’s Red Card. Work of caution, Delta does not allow you to use gift card to purchase any type of upgrades like preferred seats (added to a base fare price), priority boarding or adding checked bags. It can be applied to the base fare only. So if you want Comfort Plus or First Class, it has to be bought that way originally, not upgraded later. I lost out on $50 because of this. I was able to use it for a future flight, but it was a hassle because delta converts it to ecredit instead of leaving it on the gift card, so you can’t gift it to anyone else. This is nothing wrong with the gift card, just have to know Delta’s redemption rules before buying.

Worked fine!
I purchased 4 $500 gift cards in March to buy international plane tickets, and save 5%with the Target card discount. Everything worked smoothly! The Delta website was going very slowly when I was redeeming the gift cards and purchasing the tickets. But in the end everything worked, it just took some patience.

I made a purchase 6/24/24 for 3- round trip tickets from Buffalo to Jamaica 9/17-9/22/24,costing $1723.00. I purchased using my American Express Delta credit card gift cards. My American Express card limit is only $1000, so I purchased 2-$500.00 delta airlines e-gift cards from Target online. I saved $50 for being target credit card holder. When I checkout on delta airlines website, I added my gift cards and it showed it deducted from my total. When I hit submit payment it showed me a payment of around $700 going to my American Express credit card.Three days later the transaction fully posted on my credit card as 3 separate charges of 569.35 (each flight)+ 3- separate charges of $4.99(seat assignments) my gift cards still had full balances. I’ve called Delta 10+ times, they are not willing to resolve the issue. I’ve called American Express and they suggest I dispute the transactions- but that will cancel my trip . Flights are up to $1400.00 each, how is this my fault for there system error. So disputing with American Express is not an option. I called target , even though e-gift cards are not refundable. They advised me that the reviews were not good on those gift cards. The reviews on Target website under the $500.00 gift cards states these cards do not work and it’s a huge scam. Target advised me they cannot refund as Delta accepted payments of the gift cards.

Scammerssss Please don’t buy a Delta gift card from them. It’s not going to work and you will loose your money for sure. Then you will call Delta and they will not be able to help and Target just will say we don’t have nothing to do.

Do not bother!
I bought 4 to pay for an international flight and get the benefits of 5% savings from RedCard. Not even worth the effort it's taking me to be able to redeem these cards. I waited over 24 hours like all the forums said, and still no luck. My first online chat rep told me "Upon checking , you have purchased the Gift cards which is not valid for travel." WHAT?! The T&Cs say I can redeem for anything Delta. What else would I buy these for? I asked for a supervisor who told me they're active but they still didn't show on my side on any of the Delta pages that they were active. They couldn't be loaded to my account either. Taking a million years to figure out the issue. Target and Delta need to end this.

I purchased a $500 gift card for my husband in May 2022. We have been saving for a trip and finally were able to book accommodations. When we went to book out flight a few days ago (yes, 1.5 years later, but doesn't expire) we got error messages. After calling and emailing countless people, we got an email that the gift was used! We have not traveled since 2019! This is absolutely devastating and finding any resolve has been next to impossible. Target can't help us and the only thing Delta can do is refer us to their GiftCard email service. All of the people from Delta that I spoke with gave me the same information. So somehow some ghost on the internet stole our gift card numbers and there is no way to track them? That can't be true. It's 2024. There has to be a ticket that was purchased connected to my e-gift card. I am so upset and still waiting for answers. What are we going to do if this isn't resolved? We cannot get our money back for our accommodations. I never thought something like this was even possible. If there are errors in this, sorry. I am actively trying to fix this and I just devastated.
