Surprisingly good for having no sugar
These are pretty good for having no sugar. I hate when pears are hard and crunchy, these ones are soft, so I was happy with that. They stay good for a couple of days in the fridge in a stored container. It’s a healthier option than just having them sit in a container of heavy syrup.

Bring back the pull tab!
Delmonte no sugar sliced pears is my favorite! It was the only thing I could eat when I had covid! The convenience of a pull tab is keeping it in my room when sick and taking it to work to eat.

Offensive artificial sweetener aftertaste
I expected a "No Sugar Added" product to be generally unsweetened. I expected to get somewhat bland mushy pears, and this is precisely what I wanted. What I got instead was still cloyingly sweet, but with that Ace-K chemical aftertaste that you get from diet foods. This is not the product I wanted, and while it is true they didn't add Sucrose or Fructose, they DID add sweeteners, and they are the gross ones.

Terrible, misleading with Artificial Sweetners
Del Monte is misleading consumers by adding artificial sweetners (Acesulfame Potassium, Sucralose), but no sugar.... So ridiculous with large font "No Sugar Added" but nothing about the artificial sweetners. Read your labels consumers, you cannot trust companies to shoot straight with you.

Taste fantastic!
In spite of what others say, the sucralose is what makes these taste so great. I prefer them to pears in heavy syrup. I'm diabetic, and these are a godsend.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I really appreciate the healthier and more convenient fruit options that are now available. That being said, the fruit is very soft. I think this is a good option for when pears are out of season, but nothing beats a fresh crunchy one. This is a great option for kids lunches or snacks after school.

Soft and sweet
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I'm not a big fan of pears so I wasn't expecting to like them as much as I did! They are cut nicely and actually pretty soft! (I don't like pears usually due to the texture, so this was nice.) they are artificially sweetened, but I like it because it's not heavy like the syrups. Overall, they're pretty good!!

Overall Nice Pears
I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed the flavor of the sliced pears, especially since it has no stevia in it. I do however wish there was no added Sucralose as it is a bit misleading to say no sugar added but then find sucralose in the ingredients. I'm glad there is less sugar in the pears than would be in the heavy syrup, so this is a step up. Overall, the flavor is nice and overly sweet or 'syrupy'.
