Two Critical Design Flaws

Two key flaws: 1) hinges on top of storage box operate independently and it causes the lid to open unevenly, even when you lift the lid from the center. Uneven opening causes one side to be higher than the other, which has caused the metal support rod inside the front edge of the lid to force the screws out from each side. The lid is not watertight when it won’t lower evenly and securely. 2) the top has a basketweave design which holds water, rather than letting it drain. Allows mosquitos to breed and causes water to leak down the back of the lid when opening.

Great outdoor storage solution

This looks great in my backyard and has plenty of storage space for my son’s outdoor toys. Box was only a little heavy and I was able to get the parts out and assemble easily by myself without my husband’s help! Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in an outdoor storage trunk!
