Great book, would make a wonderful gift
My daughter struggles with her emotions on certain days, she’s on the spectrum but we connect at the end of the day by reading a book. This has been a wonderful book to help her express and give me examples of how she felt during her day. Instead of saying “Dear Girl” I replace “girl” with her name. As someone pointed out, it’s not a story but more of a book with affirmations. I found it beautiful and with a great message.

This book is more like a mantra and affirmative phrases collection and not really a story. If you're looking for a book with a plot, this does not have one. Overall, it's not a book I expect a little girl will read over and over since it doesn't tell a story. While the overall message is good, I was looking for something that would be a memorable reading experience for a child. Lots of positive reviews on this item but none mentioned the content so it was disappointing to read. I would not buy this book for the listed sticker price at all
